I have a lot of stamps, masks and embellishments that need to move on to a home where they will be lived and hopefully used.
What is the best way to sell these? Do you prefer items listed individually, or as lots or grab bags?
Where do you look for items to buy?
Thanks for your suggestions

I've had great luck on Craig's List. That way, I didn't have to box them up and go to the post office, which I hate to do. I would list things in lots of, like, $20 with pictures and they sold easily. I would list either my home or office address and never had any problems, although in the future, I'd probably just stick with my office address. I hope you have great luck! I'm sure you'll get lots of great advice.
Good luck!

I find that these days Craig's list is a hit and miss. I used to be able to unload supplies fairly quickly. Now a days things sit for weeks on end with out any hits. I'm always open to make deals. I'm wondering if all those new apps to sell things are the way to go? There's also a local FB "garage sale" group, but I don't like the idea of all my followers seeing what I'm selling.

You could also try the buy sell trade board here.

If they are from a particular manufacturer or kit club you might target their FB groups. Studio Calico used to have a FB group where folks sold their products. If you have ebay, that's an idea too if you don't mind shipping. I look at the For Sale or Trade board here as well.
I for one would not purchase grab bags, but I might purchase a particular item or line of products. If you have items left over, maybe do some RAK grab bags if you just want them out of your house.

I sell on ebay as that works for me but facebook has alot of selling groups, stamps you could try splitcoaststampers or if the manufacturer has a site with a selling board.

I still buy from ebay when I need something. Do you have any local yard sales that you could get a table?

As someone who tried getting rid of a bunch of scrap items at a garage sale recently, I can tell you - don't bother to go that route unless you only want pennies on the dollar. I had items with store tags of $24.99, $29.99, $39.99 and people would haggle over the $2 price. No one even wanted my gorgeous scrap cabinets. I was heartbroken I couldn't take them with me, but didn't get any scrappers who could use them. I was pressed for time so I listed the garage sale on craigslist, but didn't try to sell scrap items there. I did end up making a couple of teachers, a struggling young family, and a social worker VERY happy when I gave away boxes of product for their programs, so that was some small consolation.

There's also a local FB "garage sale" group, but I don't like the idea of all my followers seeing what I'm selling. If the Facebook group is private/closed/whatever it's called where you have to join, I think that only that group's members can see what you post on there. And they can't see your regular posts on your own timeline unless they're your friend (or unless your facebook is set to public, then I guess they could). There's a project life swap and shop facebook group, too.
