Our youngest dd's birthday is Saturday so that is a busy day. Then Sunday I plan on watching the NASCAR race, working with my dog and hopefully cleaning the scraproom  I can watch the race and clean the room at the same time, so unless I get pulled away then that will be one more step towards our May scrapping |

I am PLing my butt off. I just got a third of my last pages (3 of 9) for 2014 (not a typo, lol) finished. One more should be easy...after atruggling with Christmas products for so long, I am finally hitting stride. The last 5 will hopefully be using some of my hardly used (because I live in the desert) snow product. Can't wait to see it finished!

We've got a busy weekend with relatives in from out of town, Hospital visits(bad news for both cousins, not good), our nieces dance showcase, and a trip out of town for our daughters cheer competition. So no page kit making for me, but plenty of photo opportunities! I can't wait till my 3 day crop!! I'm counting down the days!! I'm more then ready for a vacation! I'm sorry that your cousins received bad news. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Hopefully the dance showcase and the cheer competition takes your mind off the hard stuff for a little bit. |

I've got a couple hours of creative time available but no MOJO Damn, I hate when that happens!! That happened to me tonight! My daughter has a dance competition tomorrow with a 6 hour break between the third and fourth dance. I packed up my car with three CTMH organizing boxes full of project life cards. I want to start putting journaling cards in my 2014 album. I'm hoping I can get that finished so I can start working on the journaling this week. And praying it keeps me busy so I can not think about snacking. I went to Weight Watchers today and I'm up 13.6 lbs from my last weigh in at the beginning of March. Cookie dough is not my friend anymore. HA HA. I hope everyone is having a great weekend! |

Damn, I hate when that happens!! I do too! I managed to do two pages but really didn't embellishment much, just wasn't coming to me^^^ this happens to me sometimes, too... I think it's just what I feel like I'm in the mood for-- sometimes it's cutting and pasting papers and photos, and sometimes it's adding the embellishments and finishing touches. So I scrap kind of 'in stages' I guess you'd say-- I do the page arrangements and I might set them aside for a while; then I'll actually 'build' the pages when I'm in the mood to cut / paste / glue, then maybe set them aside for a while again; then I'll do the embellishments (stickers, clusters, enamel dots, etc.) when I feel like I'm in the mood to do that part. And really, now that I'm thinking about it, I don't think I ever make a layout from start to finish all in one go. I just picked up 125 more photos from Walgreens (yesterday was the last day of their half-price photo printing sale) so I only have about 4 days of our Hawaiian vacation left to go thru and print! I'm probably printing waaaay too many photos- my boyfriend just shakes his head when I tell him how many pictures I'm getting printed... but I don't want to limit myself too much! And I like to do multi-photo layouts! So we'll see how many of them I actually use when it's all over with. I have a feeling I'm going to be sick of vacation / Hawaii photos for a while after this crop is over with, though-- lol! |

I made 4 cards yesterday and also cut our 2 pairs pf PJ pants and half sewed one of them. My aim is to finish my sewing today, make a couple more cards and also a couple of layouts. I need to print some more photos out first  |

justjac and I scrapped up a storm this weekend. I think I have July to December covered in dgs's album, so about half I guess. I finished 27 pages, have 3 or 4 more that need a photo or some elements added from my stash at home. Completed both sides of a PL page protector with photos and journaling, and about 2/3 of another that needs some more photos. I will post some of my pages when I get my stuff into the house. It will be sitting in the car until Tuesday, so don't hold your breath!

5 1/2 of the 9 left are now done. I just can't wait to slam this album closed and know that it's completed for people to look through. It's currently occupying the other half of my desk and my younger son had a blast ruffling everything up going through all the pictures. He just recently turned 3 and wasn't all that interested before. I'd prompt him by asking who was who in photos and he could answer, but this is the first time he's really looked carefully at each and every picture. I am hoping that my husband will want to sit down with the boys when the album is done and go through it. It will also give me an idea as to whether or not I should spread it into 2 albums for ease of looking at it. For storage, even though it's bursting at the seams ever so slightly, it's totally fine...but it might not be for handling. It has to weigh close to 15 pounds.

No scrapping this past weekend. I was on call, and even though it turned out to be a really quiet weekend, I get so antsy every time the phone rings I get jumpy. Makes it hard to concentrate and be crafty.
HOWEVER, call was over as of this morning. Last night I did manage to pull a few of my old SSS kits and I plan on making some cards. Starting tonight.

I think I know how to do this now after a little refupeas coaching!! That is so cute! I love mini albums. I started a similar project last fall with pictures of favorite fall events through the years, using Basic Grey Persimmon papers and a chipboard album. If I finish it by next fall, I'll be happy. Some of the pictures need to be printed from negatives, which is daunting these days. At least I found them. |

I did it! The album is DONE!!! Good for you!! It's a great feeling when it's all completed isn't it!? My last big album venture was a Disney trip that ended up being two huge albums. I have never been so glad to see the back of a project in my life! LOL! But then we went to Disney again for the 60th and now I'm supposed to do another one?!?! I just can't face it yet but when I do I know I will keep it to the bare minimum. I think I will only scrap the pictures that directly relate to the 60th anniversary. |

Oh jeez, Disney is the bain of my existence!! I have 3 trips that I work on simultaneously. I don't see the end in site as we are probably going again this summer!! It's the same color palette that Simple Stories used in both Say Cheese lines but it's brighter (no cream base) and absolutely gorgeous. Maybe something like that will help get you through it?! I have an album to do for Disney, too...I'm going with the bargain 9x12 stuff that I have and the Say Cheese and Say Cheese II that I've been hoarding for a couple of years...we went for 2 days...just 2 days and I plan to do an entire album for it.
