I like your thread title. It reminds me of my 12 y/o dgd who says when I'm around she knows what it's like to deal with the paparazzi! Lol

Ha ha. You asked for it! I will be honest. I am not a photographer, my kids are only marginally cooperative with photos, ever, and mostly what I take can therefore be termed "photographic disasters." However, I figure photos are better than no photos, right? So, here we have the best (yes, the best) of my attempts to get a picture of all four of my youngest kids when we took them to the tulips last week: Then, we have my attempt to get my ten-year-old with a couple of the younger kids. Do you see how one has a face full of marker? Do you think that the kids bothered to use a washable marker for that? Please. OK, so here is my beloved youngest, on a trip a few weeks ago to SF. Everything about this photo makes me happy, except for the fact that the lighting is really pretty terrible. Oh, and, finally, I asked dh to get a photo of me at the tulips. I think he did a better job than I would have done, but can you believe the nerve of those people wandering around the background of *my photograph*? So, that is it in Epeanymous photo disasters. For today. Also, do you note how my oldest isn't in any of these pictures? She has wised up. 10,000 daily selfies to Instagram, but she runs like the wind when I get out the DSLR.

Amateur me, has successfully edited people out of a photo just like yours. I was so thrilled!

We went to Mexico last month and I brought three cameras. We brought my son's gf with us and one night they both dressed up and asked me to do a photo shoot of them. They are currently my favorite children! My pets are also very good natured with the camera.
Patter, your camera loving baby looks a lot like my big sheltie. She has a lot more white now though. Such pretty dogs!

AussieMeg, great photos especially the second one. Hope she didn't get hurt when she landed though. I would have broken an ankle. LOL! And thanks, 950nancy. We had a Sheltie years ago but he passed at age 6. I actually love the larger Rough Collies now. I don't even have to bend down to pet them. LOL! They are so fun!!!!

This cute guy looks so cute and innocent BUT don't let that fool you. He was just one muddy ball of fur and that is a brand new rug. He was trying to get in the back door and that was just not going to happen.

Patter , the boys are just as majestic looking as ever! lainey , I do think that cat is having some serious thoughts passing through his little cat brain. Oh to know what they are. epeanymous , I LOVE tulips AND that photo of you. Kids, well, you know they are kids. Love how it is captured like it is! AussieMeg , oh gosh, those fun beach pictures. The second leaping one is fantastic. Love the hair in the third one. jeremysgirl , oh just stop right there with that sweet dog's expression. My camera or phone is whipped out at all times. My kids just know that is going to happen.

I remember you telling me that, but my sweet sheltie is quite large (for her breed) so I like to think that except for the nose/forehead shape, that she is Lassie. People ask me all of the time if she is a collie.

epeanymous, your children are adorable. How old are they? The ones pictured are 10, 6, 6, 3, and seven months. There is a 13-year-old girl not pictured.
