I want to give a huge THANK YOU to all the Mac peas that responded to my earlier thread asking for advice on buying a Mac laptop. I received my new refurbished MacBook Pro an hour ago and so far I'm LOVING it! So much to learn but it's SO nice. And I LOVE the touchpad!!! I'm a very happy girl tonight! THANKS again!!!!

Yay! . I'm such a Mac computer girl! Oh, and iPads. No iPhone, but I have a stupid flip phone.

The touchpad makes me hate every other computer I work on. In a day or two you'll be a master of the touchpad.

I am going through the same thing. I got my Mac a couple of weeks ago and I love it so much. I especially like the touch pad and its deeper push option. My last one didn't have that. I have been using a desk top PC and the freedom of the laptop again is so very nice. I don't have all the key moves down in this one yet though. I just learned the print screen and print a section of a screen keys. I should take a new key set every day, but I have been waiting until I need something and then hunting it down.
Congratulations on your new Mac. It should last you a good long time in comparison to other laptops.

It does take longer for some of us to convert to Mac but once you go there you will wonder why it took so long to get there.
We are an Apple family, computers, laptop, iPhones, iPods, and iPads. Love everything about it all.

Print a section of the screen?!. Please share To make a copy of the whole screen, you press Shift/Command/3 and to capture just a section of it, press Shift/Command/4 and the use the touch pad to select the area you want copied. Easy peasy!
