It's a tad bit late in the season, but it will be wet and melt fast.

Oh, how I miss the exciting Colorado weather! I'm not joking. I really do miss it. It's currently 74 in Denver (i.e. DIA) and there could be significant snowfall over the weekend. Such fun!
Our winter in the Pacific Northwest has been so gloomy and wet, and though it's a lot better now, we're still having a fair number of cloudy days (like right now). And I miss snow!

I'm hoping we'll have a lot of moisture this spring like we did last year. The wildflowers were so beautiful last summer!

I will try and focus on the promise of beautiful wild flowers. This really has been an introduction to Colorado's wild weather for us. I'm sitting outside on the porch enjoying a glass of wine while I can.

We had a field trip canceled in May one year because of snowfall and one year during baseball picture day it snowed (Father's Day weekend). Currently Pikes Peak is more snow than rocks. I was in Ft. Lauderdale in February and the temperatures were better back in Colorado. My flowers are loving the rain and cold so far. No planting annuals until Mother's Day though. That saying of if you don't like the weather, what five minutes, rings especially true December through April.
And also remember that we have few bugs and humidity. Sorry about your deck though. That sucks.

I am loving the low humidity and not having to keep a can of Deep Woods on the front porch.

I love snow, so it doesn't bother me! It won't stick around for more than a day or 2 most likely, so hopefully you won't have to put your deck off long. I never believe that we'll get as much as they say we're going to this late in the year either.
