We have had the worst weather I can remember this summer. It is raining again today. The temp is in the fifties to low sixties. School starts in a few weeks and we have had maybe ten nice days since June. I know I'll get back to school and September and October will be sweltering. I am antsy to get outside and do something fun. I am NOT a happy camper!! OK..Vent over. You may return to your regular programming.

It has been rani ng here for 24 hours straight, so I get your irritation. We've been lucky to have some great weather this summer too though.
Hope your last couple of weeks are nicer

How disappointing! Hope you get some better weather soon! I'm kind of in a grouchy mood because of the weather, myself, but it's mainly because our stupid A/C isn't working and it's making me hot and pissy. I've been home all day waiting for the repairman to show up - the time frame given to us will be up in 15 minutes. GRRRRR!!!! I can't EVEN think about cooking dinner - making the house even hotter than it already is. Oh, and I have cramps. Sounds like a PERFECT night to eat out. with wine.

Rain here for an hour is very uncommon. It actually makes me nervous because we have so many burn scars from previous fires in the last two years. Flooding happens very quickly at the base of the mountains. This summer it has rained quite a bit, but certainly most days are sunny and gorgeous, Hope your weather clears up and you can enjoy the sun.

You must live in CO. I am loving this summer weather but I will fully admit to hating hot weather.

It has been a very strange summer. I am not complaining too much because I really do not like the hot and humid weather, but I do feel bad for all the kids having the summer off and it not being hot enough to swim.

Not to "rain on your parade" but the weather here has been fantastic. Mid 70's and little to no humidity. Finally!!! I think it's a payback from the crappy winter we had

Haven't liked the weather here either, the past two mornings were in the 50s.. and while its nice to be in the 80s instead of pushing 100 like normal for this time of year, we haven't even been able to go swimming. Its dropping so cool at night that the water at the lakes is cold, the water at my aunts pool is cold and gosh be you do not want to get in the river..its frigid..
It's summer, its supposed to be HOT.. the fact that it doesn't at all feel like summer I keep finding myself thinking "oh I'll do that this summer" then realization hits that it IS summer... then the realization that school starts very very soon(my 16yr old has a half day next week to get his schedule, then starts on the 12th).. then dd and I both start back to college the end of Aug..
ya making me grouchy too. I dont want it to be 100,with 100% humidity, but geeez 50s at night isn't supposed to happen here in July

We've had a cooler-than-normal summer here in Central Indiana. While I don't really want 90+ degree temps it would be nice if it would get up over 80. We're suppose to go visit DD and family this weekend at their lake cottage in Michigan. Looks like it's going to be really cool which means no swimming in the lake for me. Not very happy about that. Usually the best part of the weekend is playing in the lake with the DGD's.

Wearing jeans, long sleeves and the forecasters are calling it "fall like temperatures." This is NOT welcome news to someone with a swimming pool. We've been in it twice and both times had to heat it up over several days. What a huge waste that is this year!

We've had the cooler than usual weather, but without the rain. It just feels weird to need a blanket at night in July - normal temps here at night would be in the mid 90s, not the low 50s.
The weird weather is wrecking havoc on the crops in the area.

We're having record lows right now. We swam today, for as long as we could stand, and then got out and had hot chocolate!!
