I need to force myself to start eating breakfast in the morning, I just don't like it much, and to be honest, I don't really get hungry until about 3 pm and often wait until then to eat anything. I know that's not healthy for me.
My son made me a kale/unsweetened almond milk/protein powder/frozen fruit smoothie in his when I visited him a couple of weeks ago. It was really good. After trying to make one in my food processor and having it end up super chunky, I have the Vitamix 300 being delivered later today.
So, I'd like to use this gadget for as much as I can, and I know I can google BUT....what healthful things do you make in yours? I tend towards vegetarian if that makes a difference. Recipes would be an added bonus. Thanks!

I've had a Vitamix for a month or so now. I make green smoothies most mornings. ( spinach, carrots, leftover veggies, almond milk, berries, a banana and chia seeds) I also make sorbet for something sweet in the eve's. I also made a dark chocolate cherry smoothie one evening, it was yummmm!

I have a Blendtec, not a Vitamix. (Same results.)
I make breakfast smoothies with a large dollop of plain Greek yogurt, various frozen fruits, a banana, whatever leftover greens I have in the freezer - spinach or kale, chia seeds and a little bit of milk if its too thick.
ETA: if it's too tart I'll add a little bit of honey.

I've been making soup in mine - just raw vegetables and (usually) chicken broth, love it!
