Who's still watching? Thoughts?
For the most part I'm really enjoying this series. Mostly they've been making some really good outfits and overall there's been a good vibe. I don't like how they've been picking on Sam, from what they show us it doesn't seem deserved, but maybe he's being really difficult and we're just not seeing it...but in general I wish Kini and Alexander and Ken would (or should have) just let it go already. They do seem to be right in that Isaac's favourite. Isaac loves everything he does, but that isn't Sam's fault.
Alexander was my favourite personality, but unfortunately not my favourite designer so while I was sad to see him go, it was fair and I didn't really like his last couple of outfits. But I'd love to know him in real life and I think he'd be a hoot to sit and watch PR with. I don't know what he was thinking with his Snow White dress from last week - he got that all wrong.
I've even liked Ken this season, he seems to have learnt how to control himself better and when he did get frustrated with himself last week, at least he seems to have leaned not to take it out on someone else. He was better removing himself from the situation until he calmed down. He needs to let go of the Sam thing though. I do think Ken should have gone home his time, I think Asher (or is it Asha?) went wrong this episode, but overall she's been better and more consistent than he was. Been loving Dom this season, she's had some great designs, I loved her Tinkerbell look & I'd love to see a whole collection from her again.
Oh and am I the old only old fart who's never even heard of "at leisure wear"? Who knew this was a fashion category?
I'm pretty excited about Boy George next week!

I've been watching. I, too, must be old because my taste in clothes certainly does not go along with the judges. My favorite designer, Layana, was eliminated last week. I love her clothes, and her style. She seems so nice as well. I hated Emily's outfit last night. The stiff jacket with the satiny shorts - ugly. The shade of black for the top did not match the shade of black for the shorts. Again, ugly. And last week, the red straight pants with the peplum top, was the winning design. Why? What's innovative about that? Anyhow..... For being a fashion design show, I wonder who dresses Alyssa Milano? And what about Zanna (the mentor)? Honestly, I find that both of their outfits, week after week, look awful. You can tell, from the way the designers look at Alyssa, they are not impressed either. Same with Heidi Klum from Project Runway; she's always on the worst dressed list.

I haven't seen last night's episode yet - it is recorded. I do not enjoy Alissa Milano at all - I think she's dumpy and unfashionable. so her line of athletic wear was ho hum to me. I liked Ken's hoodie way more than most of what she showcased in her collection.
OK, so this season I like Ken, Dom, and a few others. I am still faithfully watching and enjoying many of the clothes. But I am not a fashionista because many times things I like end up in the bottom. Love boy George! Can't wait for him!

I am still in! I must agree with what has been said about Alyssa. She is still carrying a lot of baby weight to be wearing most of her outfits. She is also short and they put her in the highest heels that she can't walk in. She tries way too hard with hair and makeup. Not a fan at all. Georgina on the other hand always looks like perfection!

I just don't understand what the judges saw in those awful pants Kini did. They were hideous and belong in the 80's.?they all thought it was so 'fresh'? Really???
I thought Ken should have gone home.

I'm still in too. I love this show.
I think maybe there is more to the Sam hate than we are being shown. He seems so cocky and he never even acknowledged Kini making half the outfit that won him his second challenge. I think he is a bit too big for his britches but have to agree Kini needs to let it go. Sam seems arrogant in the wait room though. Who knows what we aren't privy to?
Of all left I love Kini and Dom. Hated both their summer looks though. Kini is from Hawaii, he should know summer wear!! Dom's was tasteless and she lost herself. Actually I felt nobody did a summer look. Maybe Ken but it was boring. Sam's looked like a blanket for a baby! Ick..it was hideous. I think Emily won only because she used lighter fabrics. The best of the awful lol
I can't wait for the avant garde challenge next week!! It's my favourite.

Same with Heidi Klum from Project Runway; she's always on the worst dressed list. THANK YOU for saying this. I have the same opinion - don't these people look in the mirror before going on TV where they'll be seen by millions of people? At least Alyssa has washed her hair a couple of times this season.
I was very disappointed with the way things ended this week. It's pretty clear that they want to keep the "guy" drama going. Didn't Asha just win her second challenge last week? She wasn't even the worst look. Sam should have gone home several times now.
I'm not sure how I feel about the Sam/Kini thing. Kini was helping Sam out of the kindness of his heart, and then Sam didn't even acknowledge it to the judges, he just took credit for the whole thing. I'm thinking he helped him out another time too, but don't quote me on that. On the other hand, Kini did agree to help, so I guess he has to take some of the responsibility, too. Still, Sam could have handled it a whole lot differently. I was pretty disappointed that Ken didn't alert the judges two weeks ago when he found out. That was the start of his "struggles". Sam's flirting with Isaac and Isaac's flirting back shouldn't be allowed.
Far and above the best-dressed on the show is Georgina Chapman. I love her style! My only complaint is that we don't get to see her complete outfit. She also seems like the most level-headed of the judges. I've lost a lot of respect for Isaac this season.

I thought it was Athleisure wear, like athletic, but I really have no idea. I kept watching to see if they would write out what they were saying.

About the whole Sam/Kini thing
A it's not project seamstress. So, even if Kini sewed Sam's shirt during a TEAM challenge, it would be a collaboration. No? It's a design competition not a sewing competition.
B it was a team challenge, you do what you have to because you sink or swim together. It's not the first time someone sewed for their team mate on a team challenge, it won't be the last. Stop acting like a huge baby over it. I cant believe Kini would be that insecure.
And I don't even like Sam, While Kini was one of my favorite designers but this constant bashing is old already.

While I agree with you Hop in theory, it wasn't a collaboration. Each designer had to make a look. Most times, the teams help one another, it's told and known to the judges. Sam won that challenge because of the top of the outfit. Kini did the whole top and designed it as well. Sam did not design it or sew it. Sam did not even say Kini collaborated with him...never mind did the whole top. It was just a douche thing to do. He did not even thank Kini after. That's what the issue was. For more than 2 designers to keep bringing it up, it must have been a big deal. Dom, Alexander, Ken, Layana and Kini all said something so that tells me it was more than just what we were shown.

Maybe, it obvious they have told us everything. AND it's obvious that Sam is the judges darling this season, who knows why. I don't really like Sam much, but I'd rather not hear about it anymore. Lol Oh and they didn't win they were second

Oh and they didn't win they were second I thought the whole reason that everyone was pissed is because Sam's look won the challenge. ETA: Nope, you are right. Sorry. I looked it up. I thought Kini was so pissed because Sam won. My mistake!

I thought Kini was so pissed because Sam won. My mistake! I was also thinking he had won, although I guess in my mind it doesn't really matter. While the judges were all drooling over the top, Sam just stood there with a smirky look on his face and accepted all the accolades. I thought Kini did a good job of holding his tongue right then & there. I'm really disappointed in the production team. It's obvious they let it slide for the drama it would produce.
Sam's attitude ever since certainly hasn't helped.
