Hey everyone! I'm not sure what I'm making for dinner tonight ... dh wants pulled pork ... which I would need to get in the slow cooker soon if that's what we're having ... but I'm not sure if that's what I'm into I'd rather grill some steaks and bake up some home fries We will know in the next half hour who wins What is on your menu tonight?

I'm grilling sirloin steaks and we're having baked potato and a garden salad with it. Unfortunately I woke up with a cold and really don't care if I eat. It's about 65° F out and I wish I was hanging out outside but I just woke up from a 3 1/2 hour nap

Ugh, it's one of those weeks where just looking at the calendar stresses me out. In preparation of that, this morning I've been a whirlwind of activity. 10 dozen cookies baked (including a new recipe for ginger and orange cookies, the house smelled amazing while they baked), enough French toast to freeze and feed the kids for a couple of weeks, cleaned house, and done about 1,594,393 loads of laundry (still got to fold it though - the worst part).
Of course, the day wouldn't be complete without 2 baseball games, which of course are both at the same time in different locations and mean we won't be home until late....so....dinner tonight is creamy chicken and rice soup and I'll throw together a salad to go with it.
Time now to clean up the disaster I made in the kitchen.

We have just had roast turkey, stuffing, mash, veg, Yorkshire Puddings and gravy followed by chocolate trifle for those who wanted it.

I made a teriyaki version of chicken cordon bleu. Stuffed the marinated chicken with marinated pork, provolone and pineapple. Serving with rice and some garlic sugar sauteed green beans.

We're having leftover rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, and a lima bean casserole. Out of luck with the peaches last night... we're out! Totally out! I don't know how I let that happen -- now I have to wait until summer for my fresh peaches fix. I'll make sure to freeze a lot more this year!

spaghetti and garlic bread..(course by spaghetti I mean the 18yr old will have noodles with a piece of sandwich cheese on top and some parmesan sprinkled on top of that.. the weirdo never has ate spaghetti sauce

My son is on his way over with the 7yo and the other 7yo (the girlfriend's son). Apparently the girlfriend is sick and the boys need to get lost. So I just took the chicken spaghetti casserole I froze last week out of the freezer, and they can eat that for dinner along with asparagus I picked up at Trader Joe's this morning. I guess I'll roast the asparagus. The other 7yo will no doubt tell me his mom doesn't make him eat asparagus (as he says about pretty much every vegetable I serve) but not.my.problem.

I'm actually making a crock pot meal tonight for later in the week because I don't want the crock pot on for 9 hours while no one is home. And also making ahead some stuffed pocket filling that i'll throw into the remade crescent dough tomorrow. So I'm cooking for a few days all at once. We are having chili for dinner, I just didn't want to ruin my one word answer with all the explanation.

Tikka masala (from a jar, thank you Patak's), and lemon mousse for dessert. Yummy, but I intensely dislike the amount of washing up I have to do afterwards. And while DH wants me to share the mousse with him (which I truthfully, don't want to. Lemon is my favourite fruit, and if I was a bit more selfish or loved him a little bit less, I would have kept it all for me), he refusert to help me washing up.....

Well, there is a pork roast in the oven. It may not be finished in time for supper. If it is, we'll have asparagus and mashed potatoes.
I'd just as soon it not be finished and have a frozen spinach and mushroom pizza that I put some chorizo slices on top of to make it tastier.

Shrimp stuffed avocados.
I take salad shrimp and mix it with diced celery, red onion, green onion, minced garlic, parsley, cocktail sauce, and a tiny bit of worcestershire sauce. Then I halve an avocado and stuff it with the mixture. We are having summer weather today so something chilled is perfect for dinner tonight.

Well, that was unsettling. Just went to Raleys and as I pull into the parking lot I see 3 police cars with their lights flashing. Soon after here comes the firetruck and ambulance. There was an older gentleman sitting in a car and I understand he was having a heart attack. I hope he's okay. I decided on grilled sirloin steaks and grilled veggies (zucchini, red onions, red bell pepper & mushrooms) for dinner.

It's another night of leftovers here. It's really not that bad because I made a casserole Friday night (broccoli/rice/cheese) and a quiche last night. We also have potato soup and some rotisserie chicken. I'm a little cool, so I'll be heating up the soup.

Oh goodness! The roasted yams were so good! We baked them like you would a baked potato, slipped the skins right off and rough cut them up. They needed absolutely no seasonings or anything!!

I made Italian beef and we ate it in rolls with horseradish and giardiniera. Cauliflower with cheese, corn, and strawberries. I like to keep it as simple as I can on Sundays. Erin

Cinnamon toast. In my defense I had a huge salad at lunch and I am not really terribly hungry. And since I ate my usual round of peanut butter toast for breakfast, cinnamon toast will have to substitute.

For three days now my oldest DS (10) has been asking for Chinese food. He helped me mow the lawns this afternoon so I made him Chinese food I made homemade vegetable fried rice, and cooked up some frozen chicken and vegetable potstickers I had purchased at Costco recently. He was one happy kid.

I have these ribs on right now. Sweet and sour spareribs I'll make white rice on the side and I have some artichokes that need to be cooked. I'll get to try my instant pot for cooking artichokes for the first time. I hate how long they usually take to cook. About 30 min left for the ribs and I can't wait to try them!
