Anyone still taking a photo a day? If so, are your primarily using your smart phone?

Yes! Before I had difficulty remembering each day, but since April I've been using the 'Collect' app. I loved using it so much on my iPad that I bought an iPhone to make it more portable. To my knowledge it is only available for apple right now. It's really user-friendly & helps me with journaling b/c you can type a little blurb to go with your picture. The downside: you do need to purchase the pro version to export pics (for printing & such), but we'll worth the $1.99 IMO.

I take a picture a day, I have since January 1 2010 and I've done both. In 2010 it was all using my point and shoot camera, and it stayed that way until 2013 when I got a camera on my phone that was pretty good, now most of my photos are iPhone photos, but I do notice a difference in quality so I am trying to take more with my point and shoot.

I did the 100 Happy Days challenge that has been floating around. I used my iPhone. And after I hit my 100 days I kept going. I'm aiming for 200 days. and if I can get that I'll see if I can do 100 more.
The smaller chunks seem to work better for me. I guess it's less pressure.

I now take most pics with my phone. Guess because I always have it on me, whereas I have to think about taking the camera out.

I still take a photo a day - I have been since 2009 (although I do miss a day from time to time) I primarily use my camera phone now. Side Bar: Alexxussss - your avatar threw me off. I do a photo a day, started on 1/1/11. I mostly use my phone. I don't worry about the quality too much. Blurry is OK from time to time, the idea is to be in the habit of documenting. You never know what's going to be memorable.  |

Funny you should ask.  I try to take a photo a day & have been using my regular camera since 2010. Two weeks ago, my husband surprised me w/an iPad mini (not the same as a smart phone, but the basic idea is the same) and I've decided to try to use it instead. Normally, when I empty my memory card onto the computer, I have to sort out the PL pics from my regular scrappy pics and it's a pain. This way, I'll be able to simply upload them to Snapfish from the iPad and skip that middle step. Have only done it once. Hoping it works out better for me. |

Yup using my smartphone for photoaday since 2009. So quality of camera is my top priority when I buy/change my mobile |
