What can you tell me about uv protection on glass? Solar protection on glass will help cut down the sun damage on the interior of your car. Most newer cars have it now, and when we buy windshields if they don't have them most of them are converting over so we don't have any choice. Now that's the actual windshield, you're not talking about an aftermarket product are you?

I'm wondering if such a product would really help any? Is it dark? Legal? I own a Dodge Grand Caravan so LOTS of glass that would need it. My my car guy friends could only tell me about tinting for preventing visibility looking in. Which is illegal here but some still have it. But out we would need actual UV protection. And yes yes we need a new windshield so that may be worth asking about.

In our state you can't have anything on the windshield except the brow but ppl still do it. Getting you whole car done here is about $165

In Rhode Island, extra window tint is only legal from the rear windows of you vehicle. Can't be on the windshield or drivers/front passengers door window.
