How early do I need to check in for a flight from Prague? We are flying from Prague to Frankfurt and then home to DC.
TIA

I'd arrive 2 hours before my flight. Even though your next leg is leaving Frankfurt, it's still an international flight and as such might take a bit more time to get through everything than it would for a domestic one.

Yep, I'd get there two hours in advance of your flight. When in doubt, contact the airline.

That's what I was figuring I would do. I am setting up a car service to take us to the airport and need to give them a time. Thanks.

If you're staying at a hotel, would someone at the front desk know? I would assume two hours also- hopefully the airport will be interesting since you have to be there early!

Lots of information about transport to the airport, lounges and the different terminals. Might save you money to use a shuttle service.

I will check it out but the service we are using is charging me $17 for all four of us.

Everyone I know that uses Frankfurt just has time to run to their gate. You will be arriving at the "domestic" terminal and will most likely be shuttled to the International Terminal and it is there that you will go through your final security checkpoint. There can be a backup/line for this security. After that you will need to find your departure gate. Frankfurt Airport is HUGE, so you might want to download a copy of this airport's floor layout. Have fun.

Are you flying on Czech Airlines? I fly them regularly through Prague and into Slovakia. They run typical like a Delta and recommend the 2-3 hours ahead. The Prague airport does have decent restaurants in the area where I'm usually transitioning. Have a safe trip!

When my folks recently flew from UK to US and home again they were told to arrive 3 hours prior to departure.
