Thanks deekaye! I did post in my private Facebook group when it happened because my initial reaction wasn't so clear, LOL. The ladies talked me into being flattered and that mistakes happen to the best of us. And the company handled it so well

I'm glad they made good, but I personally think you should have received some free product or a bigger certificate. Now you are doing free advertising for them too.

I'm glad you felt you got proper resolution. I had a similar thing happen to me when a company started selling my design (I encouraged them to do so but wanted credit for MY design) and didn't give me credit (in fact, the second unit I purchased, I paid MORE FOR than they listed the same item for which really soured me). When I complained, very unhappily I might add, they gave me credit on their site and refunded me around half of the cost of my second unit. I'm fine with the resolution, even though I feel like I should have been offered like 5% of sales or something, but since I won't be to building the product on my own to sell it and am more than happy with the 2 that I own, I have just decided to let it go and smile whenever I see someone post pictures with the unit in their space. It makes me very happy to know it is helping solve other people's problems because it was something I spent a long while thinking about to get the most multifunctional use out of it. BTW, it's the PL organizer that StampNStorage sells.

BTW, it's the PL organizer that StampNStorage sells. I'm sorry that happened to you Mine was so minor compared to your amazing design being used. It's hard to know the right thing to do because there's no rulebook. What's fair? What's going to allow you to sleep at night? I did wrestle with feeling like I should've been paid the going rate for a photo (i.e., much more than $50 in store credit) but then they probably would've just removed it and we'd be left with nothing but hard feelings. They're a small family company. I'm always talking on my blog about supporting scrapbooking companies so they stay in business so I need to walk the talk. Someone pointed out all the site traffic I'm now sending their way, LOL. And so it goes

I liked Kiwi Lane back when Deluxe Designs introduced it as Pages by Design. Seems they make a habit of using other people's ideas.
