I do know, but only because mine lit up a while back and it freaked me out. I had to get out the manual to find out what it meant.

You need air in your tire. I hate that it does not tell you which one.

You need air in your tire. I hate that it does not tell you which one. My mom's 2015 equinox will say which tire! I had to drive a rental for a couple weeks and the low tire light came on and it said rear right tire. But only for a moment. It looks like more models are doing that.

It's the tire pressure monitor light. It can also come on if the pressure is low in your spare tire.

Yes, as everyone has said, tire pressure. It's common to come on with weather changes. I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and on my steering wheel I can scroll through various screens and there's one that will show the air pressure of each tire. If my husband isn't handy I just pull into a tire store and they adjust pressure for me.

Sooo funny. I just got this on my dashboard and quickly looked it up in the owners manual.

I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't. To be fair, it really doesn't look anything like what it symbolizes! I'll tell you more once people have had a chance to answer. It looks like an ass crack.

Nope. But I assume it is something perverted or dirty because it seems everything is perverted and dirty. This is where I went also. It seems like a symbol for being open to anal sex. Or tire pressure. That works too. ROFL I know what it is as it has appeared several times on various cars I've driven over the last few years.....but now this is all I'll be thinking next time it comes on! :-)

I'll just say...it's automobile related. ETA: Yep, Tire Pressure. Thanks to Volt for that explanation of where the sign comes from, I had no idea why it looked like that.

I only know what the symbol means because my sister's car has that light come on all the time (especially in the winter)
But to me it looks like it means "Warning...giant tramp stamp ahead"

I'm going to answer before scrolling even though I risk being red faced by what I say I would think it means my tires need checked - though you did say it doesn't look like what it means, so I'm pretty sure that is not it

Well I don't have one of those in my car (I don't think) because my car is 17 years old. I'll have to ask DH what it has for that purpose. I drive a 1999 (bought it brand new) made in Japan Honda Civic that I adore. It has less than 100,000 miles on it. It has wishbone suspension, so it takes curves like a race car-well, at least to me it does. It's a manual car which I prefer. Debbie in MD. Probably nothing. Tire pressure monitoring didn't become required until 2007. I didn't think so. DH checks the tire pressure periodically. Debbie in MD.
