I just got my Vitamix last week and have been making the same green smoothie since. Unsweetened vanilla almond milk, kale, vanilla hemp protein powder, and mixed frozen fruit (TJs mix of banana, strawberries, mango, and pineapple). I'm ready to branch out a bit, but I'm finding googling to be a bit overwhelming. Do you have a favorite recipe you'd like to share, or a website you'd recommend? Thanks a bunch!

If you do frozen banana instead of the mixed fruit and add a bit of mint extract, it's similar to a shamrock shake.
My goto recipe is frozen mixed berries, spinach, water and either vanilla or chocolate protein powder.
In the fall I'll do cold coffee, vanilla protein powder, a scoop of pumpkin puree and some pumpkin pie spice. I get the taste of a pumpkin spice latte.

My go to is kale, spinach, half an apple, frozen pineapple chunks, pitted dates and chia seeds. Add ice cubes and water to get the consistency you like. The pineapple, apple and dates add enough sweetness to offset the grassy taste of the kale and spinach.

Pretty much do the same as you do, but we don't use packaged blend fruit because we like to mix up the flavors. Some days we add more bananas and strawberries and other days it's mango and bananas. Peaches are good as well. I also add chia seeds, blend it in, let it sit a bit and blend some more. You want the seeds to hydrate a bit before drinking.

I bought this book The Blender Girl Smoothies: 100 Gluten-Free, Vegan, and Paleo-Friendly Recipes and it's excellent. Even though I'm not any of the things in the title, they are just good basic recipes and often in combinations that you wouldn't consider. Plus it has a break down of the various ingredients and how to best prepare & use them. Once you start using those as a basis it gets easier to concoct your own. I would never have considered raw frozen cauliflower in a smoothie and now I have it quite a lot (and you can't taste it).
I also have the cup on an electronic scale and weigh all the ingredients as they go in...that way I don't OD on the fruit content.
I pretty much always have a milk (almond/coconut/cashew etc) a leafy green (spinach or kale) and cauliflower as a base, then I add different combos everyday such as: banana/melon/pineapple/fresh ginger with vanilla or banana protein powder banana/pear/cinnamon/choc or caramel protein powder banana/green apple/blueberry &/or raspberry with berry protein powder banana/avocado/red grapes/fresh mint with vanilla protein powder. Sometimes I mix different protein powders such as banana & choc or berry & vanilla
ETA: I see she has an app now, I haven't got that yet...am about to check it out though.
I also found a couple of he recipes online:
Although I never add any of the sweetener she lists, I find they are all OK without it.

I do unsweetened coconut milk, Greek yogurt, frozen banana, frozen kale (blends better than fresh!), blueberries. I never thought to freeze kale. What a great idea as I never finish a bag before it starts to go bad! Will try this with spinach as well.
