I am looking for any tips people might have for renting a 12 person van for the best possible deal. I need to drive it do Anaheim, CA from OR and back, so I need to be able to put lots of miles on it.
I've looked at sites like Kayak and Hertz and Budget am gulping at the cost.
So if you know of any tricks or better places to rent from I would love to hear from you.
Thanks -

Costco or Sam's Travel?
A specialty vehicle will rarely be given at a discount.

Are these family members? If not, check out your state's licensing and with your insurance. Years ago, I had to have a chaffeur's license in order to drive a large van with non family

Thanks all - Costco Travel saved us about $800. Also renting from a non airport market helped. Also - checking out the difference between unlimited miles and paying the extra per mile rate. Doing a little math was worth it.
