I was on Pinterest and saw this fun project using hot glue. I love hot glue and wanted to give it a try.
You use your glue gun to draw your letters, words or images on wax paper. Then when cooled off you peel off and use it like a stencil or you can paint it and use it like sticker words/letters/images.
I tried today. It didn't peel off the wax paper so I ran some water over it and the paper came off. So cool!
Here is the link for info. Hot Glue Stencils
Have you tried this before?

I have done this before directly on my canvas and peeled it off once the paint/ink dried.

The hot glue stencils are really popular with people using a gelli plate for printing. I bought a new gun to try it out but can't seem to find the time to actually do it. Maybe this week. If I do and the results are halfway decent I'll post a photo.

It was just a design for the canvas. Resist style. It's cool. But I usually just use stencils now as it's quicker and easier in my opinion. If I had more play time, then I'd do it.

I have done this before too! I used a non stick baking sheet that I dedicated for crafting, and it came right off.
Also, I had a lot of the dimensional paints from Good Will and I squirt them on the sheet in any pattern I want, let the paint dry, than lightly go over the paint with one or two coats of mod podge(I actually use Target school glue I got for .14 a bottle). Then when that is dry you peel it off and can cut it up, glue down as is, what ever you want to do.
I have also hot glued over charms to make a mold. I rub baby oil on the item, then put hot glue piled up all over it, let it dry and pop it out! Then I can use it to mold clay in, a mixture of quick dry caulk and cornstarch, paper pulp, whatever.
