Now we're talking! ! We've been looking at houses lately and I keep saying, but there is no where for my sewing room! And in one, there was an entire quilting room set up in the basement for a professional quilter. I told dh, we gotta buy that house!!!! He wasn't impressed..

My dream house has a craft room for me with lots of room for the sewing machines. Someday.

I believe that floor plan works! Sewing=craft=scrap=fun room. It's kind of an open floor plan. She could have a little cooking bar off to the side where she can prepare food. I can see in my mind a granite counter top and a stove and microwave and sink but tiny. The rest for sewing.

My Mom has converted a spare bedroom into her sewing room. The counters and cabinets are awesome! Perfect height etc.

My uncle posted that yesterday, only it said "library" instead of "sewing room." Either way works for me!
