Good for you. The only thing he would have got from me would be two fingers. Believe me, I didn't have this generous a heart when he first left. It's a good thing it took him a long time to figure out he still wanted pics.

I'll join in on the pats, too! You are doing a wonderful thing that he may or may not appreciate. That takes courage and strength. Way to go! Thank you. It's funny, but I think me being a scrapbooker, I am more soft-hearted about giving him photos because I know that pics mean so much to me and I would be devastated to lose mine.

Pat from me, and I understand. I am going through the stuff from my old life, and when I come to something, photo, memorabilia, ect, I set it aside for XH so he can have them in 2021 when he gets out of prison. I have heard the same comments: "He doesn't deserve anything", but I think it is just a decent thing to do. This is me giving YOU pats on the back *pats, pats, pats* You are such a strong lady. I have only seen you be strong and good-hearted. You've come through so much with such bravery. I'm proud of you. And you truly are being decent, holding his sentimental stuff for when he's released.

::pat pat:: You are a better person than me. I highly doubt if my ex asked for that I would go to the extent that you did. Way to go!

It takes a strong woman to take the high road sometimes. You are setting an awesome example for your kids too. You get a virtual pat on the back from me! Me too! This will make a huge difference in your kid's life. Kids notice more than you think they do. Good job mom. Thank you. I remember when he left and I just felt so sad and broken. Now I just don't want to be seen as a bitter hag, or vengeful.

Classy act, very gracious and generous of you.I hope that one day he will recognise this gesture. As others have said a great example to your kids. Lots of pats from me Thank you. I hope one day it'll sink in that he threw away a whole family that he'd spent more than a decade building. But it's too late, ya know?

You get a pat from me.
Hopefully those pictures will strike a chord with him, and show him what he is missing out on. I doubt it, but at least you know you tried and did a very generous thing!

::: pat :::: You are a better woman than I! So far the ex hasn't asked for any pictures. But to be honest, if he did ask I'm not sure I'd go to all that work for him. Thanks. Haha, about a quarter way in scanning old pics, I started getting irritated because my scanner had a hiccup and I was frustrated. I was mumbling to myself and I had said under my breathe, "Doing all this work.... what am I, his wife?!" Then I thought to myself, "Used to be."

You are being very generous for doing this. At least your children have an example of one mature adult as a parent.

If you hadn't made the copies you might have wondered if you should have in the future, but now you can feel good and forget it because you have gone beyond what was necessary. Yup, clear conscience.
