toss them? I have taken out all of the core kit cards and put them in shoebox organizers. I don't foresee using the boxes for the cards again.
I have several in my closet and don't know what to do with them. I've looked on Pinterest and used google, and haven't found any ideas other than using them to store stuff.
What have you done with your Project Life boxes?? Should I keep them or toss them?

I might try to cut the magnets out of the newer ones before recycling them.
Anyone else???

I have been holding on to mine as well especially from the mini kits. I know as soon as I toss them I will find something to do with them and be annoyed with myself

I covered mine in pretty paper and used them for storage. They're super strong - you can stack them pretty high and with a label maker it's easy to know what's in each one.

I use for storage. One hold all my small alpha sticker sheets.

I kept the small ones in case I wanted to use them for storage but haven't done anything with them yet.

I recycled mine. They just became clutter for me. I had 8 of them and several small ones too. I found some really cute storage ideas on Pinterest, but I have a lot of storage and I should be scrapping my pictures. If you need the storage and have the room, save them, but give yourself a date that you will use them or toss them. That can become a good motivator.

I may hold onto them for a bit, as I'm starting to go through all of my stuff in preparation for redoing my room and getting some new IKEA furniture in here. If I can't find a way to use them as I'm reorganizing and putting stuff back, then off they will go.

I kept mine (I only have one) and used my label maker to label is "adhesives" and threw in all my replacement glue sticks and tape runners and tiny attacher staples. It fits well on top of the 12x12 cases so I have them all stacked up and labelled. I put some pictures in this blog post: behindthewoodveneer.blogspot.com/2016/04/craft-room-organization-part-ii.htmlI keep all of my boxes and bags for organization, even if I don't need them right away. That way when I get the urge to reorganize, I have some free options at my fingertips! I just hide them on my Raskog hoarder shelf.

I love them!!!
I use them to store little embellies by colour ( the small ones) and the large ones hold bigger embellies. They fit perfectly on my shelf. A friend covers her large ones and fills them with home baking as a gift for her kids teachers at end of the year.

Or do you keep them in their original packaging?

I plan to make dividers and use them for storage of some type. I think they are far too useful to toss out.

I agree! The new ones are ish. They are getting rid of all the existing core kits at my Joann's and for $14.97 I was tempted to buy a second of my favorite ever core kit (happy) and figured, when you factor in the box, it was so worth it. If they still have some when they get marked down again, I will probably go in and buy a duplicate or two because I own all four kits they carry and like them all and to me those boxes are soooooo awesome for a multitude of things. The dividers I plan on making will be out of plastic mesh or foam board and I can use them like you would a plastic divided container for a variety of different things. I think I'd use mine for dimensional embellishments or ephemera from like companies that don't have an easy to reseal package (basically anyone but Pink Paislee, lol). I also have 6 of the Project Life boxes from Studio Calico (the ones featured in the link you shared) and there is a tutorial for turning into a drawer unit that I'd like to copy one day. I was so happy when I saw it that I had exactly 6 of those boxes. we3three.wordpress.com/2014/06/28/make-drawers/ and cannycrafter.blogspot.ca/2014/06/what-else-can-youn-make-with-project.html?m=1

I was going to throw mine out (recycle them) and then we had to move and I was so glad I had them to put the cards into when I packed them. Now that I know I am NOT moving for a long time I might actually recycle them. It seems as soon as I do something like that though I then "need" them LOL

I love them! I have reused them for gifts, for getting others started in PL and scrapping, for storage, making mini albums, mini gifts and more! I am actually meeting a local lady for more next week! LOL! I love them and am so sad they quit making them like that!
They also make great page kit containers if you are out of Iris containers or don't want to buy those. I just put the paper in a baggies, washi it to the front and then everything else goes inside the box. Just another thought.
