That subject line is not a joke. I promise.
For those of you who would consider voting Republican, was the announcement of Carly Fiorina as Ted Cruz's running mate one that made you more likely to vote for him? Given her performance in the primaries, I wasn't sure if it was a strategic move that made sense, but I am not a possible Republican voter, so I wanted to see if actual, possible Republican voters thought that her addition to his ticket might influence their vote.

It was too little, too late. Carly is brilliant, but I don't understand how she went off in the ditch over Planned Parenthood.

Does it count if I'm independent and have voted for Republicans in the past? My answer to your question would be no.

Fiorina doesn't influence me in any way. It's Ted Cruz himself that's preventing me from voting for Cruz. Don't like him. Don't trust him.

It doesn't make me like him any more. I still would not feel great supporting him. I may be able to hold my nose and vote for that ticket. I can't support Trump. Right now I'm thinking I will most likely vote third party.

No. I actually felt that he did so to manipulate the outcome--felt like he would not think women were smart enough to see what the plot was all about.

It would influence my vote - I would NOT vote for him because of it. I am in the tech industry and I well remember what Carly did to HP when she ran it.
No, I don't work for HP and don't know anyone who did, but she ran a fantastic company into the ground. During her tenure while she was cutting salaries and laying off thousands of people, she was sure to replace the ageing fleet of private planes and bought like 2 or 3 planes. Plus I think a helicopter was available to her. Gee, Carly, do you think maybe the optics were a little bad on that one? She was ultimately fired for cause. But she made millions in the process. About $40 million, to be exact.
People say Hillary is entitled and greedy. Carly probably gave her lessons.

I sometimes vote Republican. There is no way I will vote for Trump or Cruz, though, no matter who they bring in as a running mate. I think either of them are unmitigated disasters for this country. (Would you like to know how I really feel?)

I lean republican. And there is No Way will I vote for Cruz. Announcing a female running mate has no influence on my decision, he is a sleaze in my opinion. I am ashamed to call him my senator.
I will also not vote for Trump.

I'm a conservative (not a Republican) so he already has my vote. I like Fiorina, so that didn't change anything for me.

I can't think of anyone that would make Cruz look better. He is far scarier than Trump.
ETA: I wouldn't vote for Trump if he offered me all his money.
