I have two very pretty Coach wallets. They are great, but they are heavy. I have another lighter Coach one but it is a write off because it's too small.
Can anyone recommend something? I would like it to be light, pretty, leather or not. I am not sure if I care right now. I need lots of card space. I have rewards cards for everywhere. I use only cash and we have a $1 and $2 coin here so a change are would be great, too. It can be cheap or expensive as I just want to talk about wallets.
Thanks!

Well, I don't know if you would consider them pretty, but Kipling make the best wallets in my opinion. Very light, loads of card spaces and well made with zips that last forever. I have had a large wallet (or purse as we call them) for years now and it is like new. It's the size of a small clutch bag and has a wrist strap if you want it. The one I have is a Uki which I think is discontinued now, which is a pity as there are none now just quite as perfect for me as it, but they are still available occasionally on eBay. Amazon are good for Kipling.

I bought the wallet I use in 1966 and unless something really out of the ordinary should happen I am sure it will last me the rest of my life.
So I am of no help to you.

What make is it? Until I had my Kipling, which I've had for about 6 years now, I needed a new purse every few years as the zip would break, the lining would tear or some stitching would go. I can't see my Kipling wearing out any time soon.

I like Hobo wallets. I've had several of them over the years. They hold up well and I like their metal clasp coin holder. Hobo WalletThat is similar to one I have, they don't make mine anymore.

The HOBO Lauren is the best wallet I've ever owned. I've converted dozens of friends/family members to them.

I love the Coach wallets. I just don't have one. I like the way they are designed. So I try to find something as similar as I can. Most of my wallets have come from Kohls or Target.

For every day I use a Kate spade that zippers up and keeps everything inside - but I don't carry all of my rewards cards -- there are phone apps to store those numbers nowadays.
For a lighter wallet (although I don't find my Kate spade heavy) for travel I use a Kipling but I'm off to look at a HOBO. My friend just bought a lesportsac wallet for travel and really liked it.
I like my Kate spade because I zips up and everything stays in. I just throw my change into it and don't even use the outer change pocket. With a 1 and 2 dollar coin the change can get heavy and the outer pocket makes it all worse.

Isn't there an app where you can upload many reward cards so you can stop carrying the physical cards? I can't remember the name but it's something like Keychain...
I have several wallets, a Vera Bradley, a Coach, and several cell phone wallets. I use the cell phone wallets the most, I got them from Amazon.

Another vote for Hobo wallets. The Lauren is the best but it does get heavy.

I love my The Sak wallet. Perfect for my needs of a place for my credit cards and money. I don't like a heavy wallet and have never had one that has a checkbook and all that stuff in it. I have the Iris flap style. The Sak Wallet

I don't have a wallet suggestion, but if you have a smart phone, I will recommend the CardStar app to load all of your reward/grocery cards. It was like my wallet went on a diet and lost 3/4 of its weight.

In Canada a wallet is what you put your money and plastic cards in and a purse is what you put your wallet and various and sundry other things in. I have owned many purses over the years and I have never known the brand of said purses. All I know is that my wallet is made of calf's leather. And way back in 1966 you could own both leather and fur without feeling guilty. And I feel no guilt owning a leather wallet even today.

Maybe I have some rewards cards that are in common with your apps.

I used to carry other cards - like for chapters or Sephora, but now they just access all of my files on their computer and I don't really need the card. I don't really carry anything else, but I'm sure you'll find apps you need in the App Store. I just read that you still carry your save on card. Too bad - Safeway did away with their card and now just lowers the price for everyone. I'm pretty sure you need to have your bay card there to get the deals.

There's apps for your phone where you scan all your loyalty cards in and when you need one at the checkout, you just find the card in the app. The scan code from the card shows up on your screen, and the cashier just puts her little wandy thingy on the phone screen and scans it. Like how online coupons are scanned from stores like Michael's crafts. You no longer need to bring the paper coupon from their weekly mailer--you go on their website, and the coupon is right there on the first web page.
I don't like regular wallets. I have a metal business card holder that I found at TJ Maxx. (I really don't live there, and I don't work there or get $$$ for constantly suggesting shopping there---I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their stores! I think Winners is the Canadian equivalent. --Next time I go to Canada, I'm gonna find a Winners to shop at. Usually I just head to The Bay in Toronto!)
I have a couple of wristlets from Coach and Dooney and Bourke (careful, Dooney and Bourke's items last forever, but they tend to be heavier than Coach, Kate Spade, or Cole Haan)
I have a super cute vintage Kate Spade coin purse shaped like a ladybug that I keep my loyalty cards in.
My real wallet is a natural baseball glove leather wristlet from Coach I bought 2nd hand. My stepmom has a purse made from baseball glove leather that's over 20 years old, and it just keeps looking better the more it ages and wears--like a real baseball glove.
I keep my driver's license, insurance cards, debit card, two credit cards, and my doctors' business cards (I figure that if something happened to me that whoever went through my wallet would find my ID and notice the business cards when they tipped the cards out of my metal holder) I have the ICE info on my cell, but it's fingerprint and password protected.
I love the wristlet because it's lightweight, the wristlet lanyard makes it super easy for me to grab my wallet and hang onto it. I can also thread the lanyard through the handle of my purse so nobody can slip their hand into my bag and make off with my wallet.
I keep change and cash in the wrislet along with the loyalty cards I use the most (Sephora, grocery store, drug store) and my Sam's Club and COSTCO ID cards.
My dh did put all my loyalty cards on my phone, but I haven't gotten him to show me how to use the darn program, and it takes much less time for me to grab the card out of my wallet than to figure out the program on my phone--I didn't think I needed/wanted the iPhone 6, but I'll tell you, I'm having a hard time reading the teensy screen of my 5. (don't really need glasses just for that, do I?)
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my wristlets. --My dh bought me two--one to go with my black purse, and the matching Coach Tattersal wrislet when he bought me the Tattersal shopper tote. I use one to hold my phone, and the other is my cosmetic pouch for lipsticks/glosses/balm, YSL touche eclat concealer, and mini Diorshow mascara. I love having all that crap corralled together. There's also enough room for my YSL rouge volupte (colour 3 beige ultimate)--best nude for cool redhead skin, best lipstick EVER!, a couple of my NARS crayons, and a couple of the teensy Urban Decay lipsticks from a holiday lipstick special. I love being able to have the different shades I wear the most right at hand. I can't be the only one who forgets to put on lipstick until I'm in the car!

Carry all of those reward cards is the quickest way to wear out a wallet. I keep Them in a cheap I wallet that I store in the console of my car. When I'm going to go in the store I pull it out if I need it
I, personally love my coach wallet especially because I bought it, unused, for under five dollars at a thrift store . I am a coach snob, and fact I only like vintage coach because the newer coaches have such thin leather

I have a couple Coach and like them. But I agree with keeping reward cards separate. I do because it is too bulky. And a lot of time you may not need the card. A lot of stores I go to just ask for my phone number. I did just buy a Coach wallet/clutch yesterday!!

My most long lasting and favourite wallet is a karen millen . I have used it for years now and bought it preloved from eBay , so have no idea how old it is,but it's beautiful and practical with gorgeous soft leather.
