With the news that Picassa won't be getting any updates I set to looking for some other form of photo organization and basic management. I use PSE 10 and while it's OK for editing I find the organizer just awful. So I downloaded lightroom 6 as a trial. I'm not ready to outright purchase the software ($240 Canadian) and I'm not wild about having to pay a !monthly or yearly subscription. So I figured the trial would help me decide if it's worth it. I've been trying to like it really I have but it's driving me crazy! First it organized my folders by month not year like I'd want them (could totally be user error) then I renamed all the folders to do that but it only loads in previews and not the actual pictures. Printing the photos is awkward too as I can't seem to figure out how to do more than one on a page. There doesn't seem to be a place to just save an edited photo without creating a new collection. I'm just frustrated with this even after watching video tutorials. All I want is a place to organise and print pictures to scrapbook. Is there something better out there?
