My iPhone 6 is filled and can't take any more pictures. I can see the pictures, but I can't upload them. I tried on my Mac, on my PC and it says there are no pictures! But if I look at my phone, I see 500 and some pictures. Aaargh?
Any ideas? I tried making more space with the LOTR hack, but that did nothing. I want to keep these pictures or I'd just delete them. Help!
p.s. Even my tech-savvy 15yo son can't do it

Do you have the Google Drive app? Upload them there if you do!

If you have an Apple store near you take it there. I took mine and the Genius waved his magic wand and voila now my photos magically appear in my iPhotos without me doing anything.

In my case, the magic took hours to upload/sync my phone with my Mac...but he helped me by pointing out a setting that needed to be changed, and now it all works like a charm. Good luck!

Do you have facebook? Can you upload them to there? Or at least a few to make some room. When was the last time you shut off your phone? Sometimes I need to do that when the phone is being uncooperative.

Oh yes, it took awhile when I first went in there, because I had so many photos. But now that it's set up the photos go there magically. Disney -- the "magic kingdom" -- has nothing on Apple's magic.

Settings/iCloud/photos and check to see if either my photo stream or iCloud Photo Library is enabled. That way they should upload automatically to the cloud and your Mac when you open Photos or iPhoto on your Mac.
Dropbox has an iPhone app and you can easily upload to there as well.

Turn your phone off, wait a minute, turn it back on and then try uploading again. It sounds stupid but it always works for me.
