I do have Spotify. I use it on my computer, laptop and tablet. All of those devices will play "in order". When I use my phone it is only a shuffle play. We are going out of town tonight to meet friends and eat dinner. I was hoping to finally entrap DH and play my Hamilton soundtrack. He refuses to listen. I thought if he can't do anything else, he will have to listen in the car. BUT I think he needs to hear it in order. I also have Amazon Prime and have it in my library there. What special app do I need to download to be able to hear it on there? Also, will it play in order. I keep forgetting about my Amazon music. I know I can do Spotify Prem free for 30 days and just wondered what benefits I would actually get if I set it up before we leave.

There's an Amazon music app you download. I'm pretty sure it plays in order - my daughter uses it primarily. Sorry I'm not more help. My daughter was impressed that the app immediately remembered all the CDs she's bought in the last 2+ years - not just digital downloads.

Yep, just download the Amazon Music app. Make sure shuffle is off to listen to it in order.

For Spotify on your phone, you can download the music and then you should be able to play in any order you want. Don't ask me how, though, I haven't had Spotify Premium in over a year since I have Prime.

I have both premium Spotify and Amazon Prime music. I prefer Spotify seems like more of a selection, more user-friendly and for us Amazon breaks up and loses connection Spotify never does. Both Amazon and Spotify have an app you download to use. pretty user-friendly. And yes on both of them they will only Shuffle if you press the button for that and you can make your own playlists which is nice.

So, I downloaded the Amazon app, already had the Spotify app on my phone. I did go ahead and upgrade to Premium to try it out. Would be nice to listen to music offline while traveling and not use data. Soooooo, this morning I tried it out on the way to work. I pulled up Hamilton and clicked on the listen offline and hit a track. It played and knowing what would come next, when it changed it did not go to the next but to another song. I did not press shuffle. So now what. I clicked on everything to make sure I hadn't missed a shuffle somewhere.

Check to make sure your playlist is in the order you think it is. Sorry that's all I've got. I have Spotify premium and it only shuffles when I want it to.

On Spotify, you should see a toggle button for Shuffle. While you are on your playlist, click on the shuffle button to toggle off. You'll only see it if you click on the details of the song playing.

I got an email from then a few days ago for 3 months free Spotify premium. So I signed up. It is nice to play what I want on Spotify in the order I want. I've ised the free version for a few years now. I put the Hanilton soundtrack in my library the other day.

Google is your friend. I think I may have figured it out. I had looked everywhere to find a shuffle button. I finally googled and it told me to hit the song playing at the bottom and it would open up a window and to make sure THAT shuffle bottom was white. DONE!!
