I've never had a problem with smudging or flaking and as a matter of fact, it is extremely cry-proof. That is my biggest need. I am a huge baby, I cry all the time. ETA for UK ladies I just googled and it's on the 2 for £15 offer at Boots at the moment. Gah! Just been into town. May have to take another trip out again tomorrow.

I am another fan of this mascara. No smudging, flaking or raccoon eyes. It sort of slips off (not pulls off) when you wash your face. It just takes water.

I've used this mascara on and off.
I'm a fan!
I remove my eye makeup with baby oil on a washcloth. My real eyelashes do not come out.

kimpossible you asked me to report back after I used it. Well it arrived 2 days ago and I've used it both days since. I LOVE it! Absolutely no flaking, the lashes look incredibly longer and it lasts all day. I was a little intimidated with the 2 different coats thing - wasn't sure if I had to wait between coats or not. Turns out no you don't. I even tested it a bit by rubbing my eyes and nothing came off or smudged. Very easy to remove just like the ladies here have said - warm water. I used a cotton pad because I wanted to see what came off, but you probably don't need to do that - it's just part of my routine. I got the 2 for one deal online, so I was happy with the price. Even without that deal it's much cheaper than the Dior I've been using for years and I'm now a convert. Of course, that probably means they'll discontinue it with my luck

I am in the market for a new mascara, so I'll give this one a try too. And while I'm shopping, I could use the Ardell stuff too. My lashes are very sparse on the bottom. Always have been. Maybe this can help them to grow in.
After all the talk about eyebrows last week, I kept looking at mine and thinking I needed to do something about them. I was in our PetSmart last night and when I came out, I noticed a new Ulta right next door that I didn't realize was there. I slipped in and asked about a product for them and they talked me into coming back later last night for a brow tinting and clean up.
I keep getting more and more white hairs in my already sparse brows. The girl dyed them and then cleaned them up a bit. She said she liked the shape of them already. I was thinking, what shape? I didn't see it. But after she finished dying them they looked awesome! I really didn't know there was that much brow there. I ended up getting some stuff to fill them in a bit more. I'm so glad everyone was mentioning going to the Benefit eyebrow bar last week. I'm a total convert now.
I have to go run some errands right now. I hope I can find it still on sale somewhere. Wish me luck!

I gave up on mascara years ago. Allergies make my eyes itchy and watery and my lower lashes touch my face making the mascara run right off. Are you guys saying this could be the answer to my mascara-less life? No smudging, running, smearing, raccoon-eyes? Truly?

I can't talk to the allergy issue, but for sure this stuff doesn't flake or smudge at all.

When I was stationed in Scotland it was one of my favorite stores. I like Woolworths too.

Good to know. I have had the worst like with mascara. I try a different kind each time and usually hate it. I only wear it maybe twice a week. I end up liking the freebies from my Clinique giveaways so just this weekend I bought 2 tubes of it and they were having a giveaway so at least I got some goodies. I will have to try this next time.

Wow! I can't wait to try this. My lashes have never come back all the way after chemotheraphy, and I just can't justify the cost of Latisse. Thanks to the OP for the recommendation.

I like reading good reviews from people I know, well kind of . I have short lashes, and not enough lashes. I use Clinique, sometimes I switch but then I always go back. To me it's all about the brush. I hate those short, fat brushes. This Loreal one looks like it has the kind of brush I like, going to pick some up and try it.

I tried this based on this thread. At the store I noticed there were 2 different Double Extend mascaras - a thin tube, white plastic on one end and champagne colored plastic on the other, and then the thicker all red tube (which is the one I think you guys are recommending). I bought the thin tube because it was on clearance. I like it but I don't love it. It's a little thicker and clumpier than I like, but overall pretty good. I'll try the red tube version next time.

My 2 cents....I bought it the other day at Walmart, less than $9.00. I usedit on one eye...no flaking or melting or anything else. Looked way better than the naked eye, but.......I wanted more on that eye. Has anyone done more than 1 coat, if so, how? Primer, color, primer, color or primer, color color? I love than I can get my info here!
