What's your favorite thing to use it for? So far the only thing I've made is red grapefruit margaritas, and they're a hit!

All I ever use mine for is to puree soup. DD and DH use it for smoothies and really like it for that. I'm not a smoothie drinker, but I might have to pull it out and try it for margaritas!

I make my protein shake in it every morning. I also like to use it for sorbets and for blending chunky salsa into a more liquid consistency.

Google the whole fruit margarita recipe for Vitamix. I subbed a red grapefruit for the orange - they were delicious!

I love the tortilla soup. So good, and I don't feel guilty gorging on it.

I'll look for recipe, thanks! DH's favorite last summer was a red grapefruit vodka. I like to blend leftover roasted vegetables and broth to make soup.im the only one that eats it, but I'm happy.

Green or another color smoothies. Or, anything else I want blended very well. We use ours everyday and we've had it for 7 yrs.

Yesterday I made two green smoothies, ice cream base, ground flax seeds and chia seeds for a gf pizza, crushed whole tomatoes for same pizza and made my own Nutella.
On an average day though, we just use it for protein smoothies.

Yeah! I have a Blendtec, and I love buying peanuts at TJs that are roasted but not salted and making peanut butter in mine. The kids love it when I add a couple of tablespoons of cocoa powder and make chocolate peanut butter.

I bought one about a month ago, and I love mine! I make a green smoothie every morning. I also make hummus about once a week. I've made peanut butter in it once, what a pain to clean it out afterwards....I think I'll stick to the "grind your own" at whole foods from now on! Looking forward to the fall and making soup in it.

My favorite uses are for my morning protein smoothie, for making an avocado treat (1/2 and avocado and 1 cup almond milk), for making salsa smoother and for making acorn squash soup.

The kids love it when I add a couple of tablespoons of cocoa powder and make chocolate peanut butter. I've always wanted to make peanut butter from homemade honey roasted peanuts. I pinned this cool recipe for homemade almond nutella Dh and I love Nutella, but I'm allergic to hazelnuts. My mom took a food processor class in the 80s, and the best recipe she made was 5 minute fruit ice cream. You blend frozen fruit with heavy cream and a bit of sugar--they used sweetened strawberries. I've done this with fat free half and half, splenda, and peaches, raspberries, strawberries, and cherries. I would also make healthier homemade frappuccinos. Espresso, milk, ice cream, and lots of ice. Much less fat and sugar.
