That's great news! I have a question since I take BP meds. How do they know it is safe to take you off the meds? My BP has been good on the meds, but I assume it is just because of the meds. Is it because you have made the major lifestyle changes? (I have not)
Thanks, Ann

I have been tracking my numbers and they were low enough on the meds that she believes they will be fine without them (As the have been since Tuesday). We will be doing a 2 week trial to see if the changes I have made have helped, or if I still need assistance.

That is great, congrats! I wish my doctor was as willing. My BP readings from my home monitor are always in the 107/72 range, but in his office I am like 135/80 so he refuses to take away my BP med (5 mg of amlodipine once a day). I think I would be fine without them (I have lost about 30 lbs in the past year or so) but he obviously does not agree.
