First off, I'm so excited that so many other people love mood boards like I do! Since July was our first go at a mood board challenge here at our new home, I decided to make sure everyone had the chance to upload their projects and extend the deadline on that challenge... It can be tricky to post pictures the first time and I didn't want anyone to miss out because they were going through that learning curve... Check the July Mood Board Challenge thread throughout the weekend to see everyone's projects... I have a couple little goodie bags to send out, so don't forget to mention if you'd rather that be decided by a poll or a random draw  Now, on to August! This is just a sampler of the mood board, but all of the images and their sources can be found here on Pinterest... The colours are a bit more mellow, but there are still a few iconic summer colours in there... There are a couple of quotes, some different patterns, a few styles, and of course the colours to pull from... But again there are no rules - however this inspires you, go with that! I think I put more images into mood boards than is usual - hope that gives more options and doesn't overwhelm... There are a few images in the mood board on Pinterest that didn't make it into that sampler that I posted... If you're stumped, hopefully one of those might jump start an idea  |

Love the colours. Really like the grey/peach/aqua. Also love the watercolour chevron. will make a page for sure this month based off of this. Thanks for the inspiration.

penny, Do we upload our LO's to this thread? Yes - please do!  Upload your projects here... Or a link to your blog, Pinterest, scrapbook.com/ACOT/other gallery... However you like, but I think most (me included), love the idea of being able to scroll through the thread and see the projects here all together... If it turns out over time that space on the forum becomes an issue we can figure out another option then, but for right now Admin says we're good for space |

Very nice and l@@k how you incorporated all of the mood board options into your page. I may be lacking patterned paper choices, but I will figure it out! I liked the choices you made. |

I made a layout using gray, aqua and peach/orange. The picture of the different blue paint lids inspired me to make the card. The bottom part of the card is a paint sample . ![]() Love the orange hibiscus on your cruise page, and paint chips are always an added surprise! Wish I lived closer to a hardware store. |

![]() Here is my layout for the Challenge. I loved the peach and grey colour scheme and wanted the pop of teal like the pic with the car. Also wanted to have a quote so I used one about children are like flowers. I have had this photo printed off for about 4 years so I was happy to get it scrapped and in my book! snartist, yes, he climbed in! I don't even think the clothes were warm! One of the kids opened it and left it open!! He was still young and adventurous!! Now he is fat and lazy, but can still be found on top of the dryer!! Mandolynn9909, such a beautiful page and so detailed!! |

Love all of them!! kikipea: I really love how you used that vellum - it's perfect... And the layering and clusters on your second layout is beautiful... Cute picture too bklyngal62: I love that you made a card! The paint sample is a great idea... I like how you added two smaller photos into the embellishment cluster on your layout too camanddanismom: So classic! I love the combination of a dot, stripe, and floral... It's striking, and what a great moment to catch on 'film' mandolyn9909: Your layout is so soft and pretty...
