I think politicians are going to have to be smart about the way they interact with Donald. He comes across as a buffoon and says crazy stuff, so much to the point that others think their only option is to take the moral high ground and let them have an inch so they can shut him up. Before you know it, an inch is a mile and the sane people will have wondered how they got there and Donald will be sitting back watching other countries build walls for him. Sure, a large part of the population will be shocked at his antics but also a large portion will see it as vindication that you have to act a little crazy to get what you want and they will decide that it's ok because after all, he's making America great again. I also think that people will just think he's so crazy that someone else will stop him before he does or says anything stupid. I used to wonder how someone like George Bush Jr with his foot in mouth comments could be President. People sat back and laughed at him...but holy shit, he was actually President. Most of us can say we know someone similar to Donald in our lives. They are demanding and boorish, and for a peaceful life, you find yourself giving into some of their antics and justify it as being the bigger person.

Hand on heart I can honestly say I do not know anyone at all similar to DT Otherwise I agree, it would be easy for world leaders to underestimate him, but lets not forget he isn't President yet!! There's still hope!

British peas, if he wins... Is it too late for you guys to take us back? Our independence had a good run, but I'm thinking maybe we weren't quite ready for it, after all. That made me chuckle Every thread I read on here lately I say to myself " Thank the lord we have a Queen and not a President"Can the Queen get rid of a Prime Minister if she doesn't like the job he is doing or would it just be a vote of non-confidence and then dissolution of Parliament (not sure what you call it there) and an election is called?

I think politicians in most countries already know what he's like and they're not that naive IMO to go along just to shut him up. By the very nature of this thread that has already been proved from British politicians. They answered the comments/opinion he made quite clearly.

Queen doesn't take sides. Politically she's neutral. Yes the House if Commons can pass a motion of no-confidence but it would only really happen if it was a minority government and they didn't have the backing of the other small parties. I've just looked it up and the last one was 1979 and a general election was called after the Prime Minister at the time asked the Queen to dissolve Parliament. Previous to that it was 1924.

It wasn't bad enough that he sued the entire country of Scotland over wind turbines being too close to his golf course... And when he was originally called before the Scottish Parliament to discuss the matter before it went to court this is what he said to a committee of SMP "No facts you just take my word for it ,I'm the expert" The man's a lunatic.Something he said (I don't remember what- he has so many) made my DD and I actually google and investigate " psychopath vs sociopath " after I made the comment that I swear he must be a sociopath (or psychopath I can't remember which I called him now). We thought we'd know the difference with all the Criminal Minds we've watched. I believe the main difference is level of conscience one has. Psychopath has none and sociopath has one, but weak. So, yeah, I learned (or re-learned) something because of him.

I am beginning to regret not investing my life savings in that special kool aid so many people seem to be drinking. I could have been wealthy. Unfollow is a beautiful feature on FaceBook.

I decided last week that I am giving up politics this year because I can't take any more of him. Even more, I can't take any more of the elected Republicans falling all over themselves to get on the Trump bandwagon. It's bad enough that he is what he is. It's pathetic that the party is going to fall in line behind him. I'm choosing not to watch this reality show.

Well, I've got news for Republicans if they think electing DT will ensure a conservative court. DT is NOT a conservative. He's just as likely to appoint someone who's unpalatable to conservatives as Hillary is.
I cannot wait for this whole thing to be over.

"And WWIII was started by a cheeto". I literally LOL'd! I am surrounded by Republicans where I live. I know many have said they will not be voting for him. He's pissing off a lot of people in his own party! Two former presidents will not endorse him and won't attend the convention. I'm sure it has to do some with Jeb, but not much. I'm not a fan of Hillary, but I think she will win by big margins.

I think he is a dangerous deluded orange twat. He won't be welcome in the UK and his attitude will undo years of the special relationship that the UK and the US have enjoyed. My twat isn't orange (I'd say it's classy and luxurious) but it is a little sad to be compared to him.
