Tell me what you use to plan with? Are you a Kikki K or Filofax person? What size do you plan? A5, Personal, Pocket? Happy Planner?
Do you get Studio Calico or The Planner Society kits or Cocoa Daisy?
Did you buy any of the new stuff at Michaels.
Do you buy stickers and planner charms and decorations from Etsy?
What do you use for inserts?
Do you own every marker and pen ever made? ******************************************************* I am mainly a Kikki K person. They have had mostly blue, peach and mint coloured planners for quite some time now. I am kind of done with blue planners. I am also done with mint coloured planners. I have a couple of Filofaxes but not that many. I haven't decided if I like them or not yet. They are ok. I hated the teal one I got sent to me. Oh man I hate that thing. I don't have a good reason for not liking it either. I am
I think I would like to order all 3 Planner Society kits. They are just so nice every month.
I got a bit of Michaels planning stuff but not a ton. The washi is so expensive. The big tubes are $30 each here w/o a coupon and even then they are still only usually 40% off. I can't store that much stuff. I just don't need it. I did get some washi by someone on Facebook and it saved me buying a ton of it to just get the stuff I liked. That was a good thing.
I print my own inserts from sellers I find on Etsy. I had 3 different planners last year. I had an Erin Condren and it was beautiful. It was just too heavy. Love it but it's too big and heavy. I do use EC sized inserts, though. I just switch them out. I have all sorts of different types of inserts. I have my health and wellness ones, I have financial, I have goal setting, I have some cool travel inserts for a trip. I have more that were made especially for me by a seller in Mexico. She designs what I want and she sends me a pdf of what I need to print. Her work is excellent.
Planner stamps are fun. i think I have enough now as I haven't used any of them (even though I have done lots of weekly spreads). I need to store the stamps in this plastic box i bought for them and get organized. All my planning supplies will be stored on a Raskog.

I love planners. I have the A5 Metropol Red Filofax, I have a small Daytimer planner & I just bought a new planner at WalMart. I can't remember the name at the moment. The Filofax I use as my art journal. My small Daytimer is the one I use to plan with. I use my Daytimer as a fancy notebook. I have no calendar in my Daytimer. I only have a dashboard & pretty notepads I have converted to use in my Daytimer. This works for me. I have a quiet life at the moment so I don't need a lot. My new planner from WalMart will start my new journal/diary in July. I make all my inserts for all my planners. I don't buy anything at Michael's. I am not close to Michael's. Then when I do go to Michael's I really don't buy planner supplies. I make all my embellishments & charms. My friends are trying to get me to start an Etsy store for my embellishments, miniatures & charms. I don't even shop at Etsy. I think I have bought five things from Etsy since it's beginning. I really love to make planner supplies. I think it's my favorite thing in planning. I do buy pattern paper, washi tape and stickers. I will buy those things at Michael's when I go. I am equal opportunity cutesy shopper so if it's cute I will give a new washi tape, sticker or pattern paper a home. Yes, I do own every marker & pen ever made. Ok, maybe not everyone but it's close. My coloring tools are my largest part of my art room.

I am using 2 types of planners this year.
The first is a Plum Paper spiral bound planner that I use as a journal/memory keeper. I stamp in it, add stickers and washi, write and add photos. It's heavy on words, however.
The second is Midori travelers notebooks housed in a wide black Chic Sparrow notebook. I fell down the Cocoa Daisy Daisy Dori hole about 3 months ago and love my subscriptions. I currently have 4 notebooks - the monthly Daisy Dori where I do most of my planning/goal setting/listing/gratitude and other fun stuff, a yearly calendar (just to keep track of appointments and meetings), a crafty notebook to keep track of projects, ideas and deadlines (ongoing - I'll use it until I fill it up) and a home planning notebook for ideas, projects and plans (ongoing - it will be there until I fill it up).
For next year, I intend to keep doing both types of planners. I may be looking for a replacement for the Plum Paper planner that has heavier paper for stamping purposes.

I print on 32 lb paper so my pens and ink don't bleed through. So far it has worked out well. I need to print some more inserts (vertical week on 2pages EC style).
I haven't figured out how to duplex on my printer yet. It's ok. Only I see the planner so it works for me.
I am pretty happy with the new stuff I got at Michaels. The pink and mint together are so pretty!

I recently got the Webster's color crush A5 and I started off doing my planner as a memory planner, printing photos and doodling and journaling. But that was too much with PL, too. Then I started watching Plan2Create's youtube videos and I love how she divides appointments and to-do lists and then embellishes the white space left over at the end of the week. I really want to get a set of planner icon stamps kind of like these but less cartoon-ish. I know KP has sets which are cute but they have words and sayings, which I don't need and are expensive for the whole lot of them! Can anyone make a recommendation? I want something I can stamp to make it colorful, but is also utilitarian (groceries, laundry, workout, dr appointment, doggie vet appointment, etc) and simple. Can someone make a recommendation of where to turn for these?! Bonus if it comes with a bulleted lined stamp, too, for making lists. Thanks, ladies! Hopefully someone with more planner experience can help me find the right thing!

Take a look there maybe?

1. I currently use a Filofax Original A5 and just got a Color Crush Traveler's Notebook.
2. I've been subbing to The Planner Society since last June and ABSOLUTELY love it. It's so much fun receiving this kit each month!!
3. No
4. I've purchased from Peach Pom on etsy. Just love her felt paper clips & charms but I've had to take them off my planner because it's like catnip for my cat. She just about ruined my red felt heart paperclip. Once she's older & leaves them alone, I'll start using them again...fingers crossed!
5. Filofax - currently use the inserts that came w/ planner. I use this for work and need the daily page with all the different sections. I did make my own monthly folders w/ TPS paper and tabs. Color Crush TN - just got it last week so I'm using the insert that came with it plus an insert from January's TPS kit. I did order 2 new Color Crush inserts and just saw on Webster's Pages IG feed they're coming out with calendar inserts very soon!! So excited. My TN is definitely more creative, whereas, my Filofax is strictly work/home/kid's schedule. Nothing decorated in the Filofax other than the dividers.
6. No. I use a mechanical pencil in my Filofax and use the pens that come in the TPS kit for my TN. I do have a Staedtler set of pens but use them in other ways other than in my planners.
I have purchased quite a few stamp sets from Kelly Purkey. Her stamps are perfect for planners.

Why don't we chat a little bit about what Michaels has brought in. They have some fabulous inserts. Their planners are only personal sized ones. The insert paper is top notch. It is about 32lb which is perfect for pens not to soak through. they have cute ideas too. I love their stuff. They have great washi and sticky notes and stuff. They had some cute stamps as well. Oh heck the planning stuff they have is awesome. Michaels did well.
I am going to give you some advice about Kikki K. They make beautiful planners but they just released a new one in rose gold that we were all excited about and the gold flakes off. The planners are scratched up terribly and they look horrid. I won't be buying any more of theirs because they totally dropped the ball on this one. They were offering us a 20% credit if you kept it. I am just sending mine RTS and don't want to see it. They are not a good company and won't stand by their product. Filofax is much better. Their colours aren't as good but for a product they are much better!!! Live and learn I guess!

ellewood, your planner layout is so cute! Right now, I'm using a lined vertical planner (but with no breaks for morning, afternoon and evening). Next year I'll go with a lined horizontal planner. And like I said above, I'll look for one with heavier paper for stamping purposes. I have a lot of the Kelly Purkey planner stamp sets and find them perfect for my needs. I also like the studio l2e stamps. This week I got strawberries from the local orchard. I pulled out a strawberry stamp set with dies that I haven't used in years to decorate my journal entry not only about buying the strawberries, but the awesome salad I made when I got home. Small punches (circle, star, heart, banner) come in handy and are getting new life in my planner. I've been making my own stickers with them. Gotta love all the new washi from Michaels and HobLob! I picked up a few rolls this week but they are more likely to make it onto cards than my planner.

Do you use your planner as your sole planning device or with your phone, like me? Are there any bloggers or youtube personalities you follow that give you inspiration? What kind of inks do you use? Tell me everything! haha I am so tempted by the KP stamps! I have my L2e stamps on the way so I'll work a few weeks with those!

Tell me everything! haha I am so tempted by the KP stamps! I have my L2e stamps on the way so I'll work a few weeks with those! I don't really use my planner or my traveler's notebook as a "plan out my week" device. One of the inserts in my TN is a 2-page per month calendar and I write appointments, meetings and major tasks on that. But I don't keep a list of what I need to do on Monday, Tuesday, etc. Maybe I would get more done if I did. I do keep a list of goals for the month in my Daisy Dori and refer to that often to keep on track. Like I said before, my planner is more of a memory journal. I include stickers (handmade and purchased), photos, memorabilia, stamping, washi, die cuts and lots of writing. I'm working on my doodling skills and hope to incorporate that at some time. As far as ink goes, about 90% of the time I use Versafine Black Onyx. The rest of the time it's a color dye ink. I use instagram for some inspiration but most of the time my ideas are my own.

I get most of my stickers from www.etsy.com/ca/shop/EllieBethDesignsUK and love them! I love her colours and designs! www.etsy.com/ca/shop/NicoleAlexiaDesigns She has some great designs, too! There are stores I have bought them from but their paper quality is really cheap and her designs are not really imaginative or if she sees you browsing her store she will spam you with messages saying she is busy printing out stickers and yours could be next. She has done that to me 4 times too many so I won't shop with her any longer. I have found that matte is better than glossy for me. That is just personal preference. I also got a very cool planner charm made! It is so nice!

That is the weirdest thing I've ever heard about stalking shoppers! Is that on etsy? Yes, any time I have visited her site she leaves me this message Hello and good morning. I want to take a moment to thank you for visiting my sticker shop. Thank you so so much!! I am currently working on orders and yours can be one of them. I can print, cut, pack and ship your favorite kits and sticker sheets within a day or two. That means you can have your order early next week, depending on shipping times. I am also working on new single sheets and kits for my shop. I am adding more items on Sunday so please stop back by to see what is new. Once again thank you so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day. That is kind of stalkerish. I told another seller that I have been spammed like this at least 4x if not more and they said it was a no-no by Etsy. You can see who has visited your site but you aren't to contact them. Well she has contacted me this way at least 4 if not more times. I did like her stuff at one time and I did favourite her store at one time, too, so I get updates of new stuff she puts out. Thanks but no.

Anyone use the Happy Planner? I don't plan to use it for appointments, but as a "to-do" list and a space for reminders. I also have to track my mileage for work.
I need to use online calendars to sync with my family and work, but I never have luck with online task managers.

I use a Carpe Diem Platinum A5 as my household binder/planner. I use a personal size navy Filofax original as my everyday planner. It goes everywhere with me.
I do not use planner kits.
I bought the personal size pearl colored planner and a few of the notebooks at Michael's, but I haven't used them yet. I bought the planner stamps and really like them.
I have bought a few planner stamp sets from etsy. I do not use stickers, charms, or other decorations. I prefer a more minimalist style of planning. I only use stamps and washi tape.
I make my own inserts and print on 32 pound paper.
I own many pens and markers, but I don't use them in my planner. I use a 0.5mm mechanical pencil.

I need to make my planner prettier but for now I am so busy that I am good just getting everything written down.

My little finger smears and so does the outer palm of my hand. I never had decent teachers in school to show me how to write properly and that was my downfall.

That stinks... I write sideways (paper/planner) and thank goodness I never had a teacher correct me. Is it too late to try and change the direction of your paper? Wish I could give you a suggestion on a writing tool that doesn't smear. I look around and share if I find something.

Writing has always been hard for me. Ever since my teacher wrote in my book "YOU MUST WRITE NOW" and I didn't know how. Why they didn't send me to learning assistance or something to show me I don't know. Crazy. I can barely write. I do if I have to but not often. I tried turning a piece of paper on an angle but it didn't really help. I need more room to write than others. Right handed people don't seem to get it. I am the *only* south paw in the family...and the older I get the harder it gets.

I broke the wrist twice so I think it is damaged now. I have trouble writing all the time. OT could help. I will ask my GP about a referral to one to see if she could suggest something. I just can't do it anymore. I can't even sign my own name. I can sign my first name but last name is more strokey than letters.

elannah- Big hugs to you. I had those bad teachers too trying to force me to write with the correct hand. One of my teachers use to hit my hand. One time she hit my hand so hard she sprained it. That never happened again after my parents got through with her. Now I am ambidextrous. I write with a weird angle to my hand and eat with a weird angle too. I get a hard time about it from people. I am just tell them they are jealous because I am unique. I hope your GP is able to help you and that your wrist gets better soon.
