I loved Mary Mary's blog but following her on Instagram helped fill the void. I get why she needed to step back but I fell in love with Pemberly. I also really enjoyed following Ariana and was sad when she closed her blog. But she started another one this year and she's pregnant with baby number 6 and struggling with her marriage. I'm hoping for happiness and peace for her. It's funny how attached you get reading all about someone's life for years. Arianna is the one I miss the most too! Is she still posting on her new blog? Would you mind sharing a link?

You guys are sweet... I'm actually considering blogging on a much lighter basis again once we move (next week). My youngest goes to kindergarten and I'll have more free time for projects and blogging.

I'll look forward to reading your blog if you restart your writing.

I miss Mary Mary's blog. I liked the funny stories about her kids, especially Kitty.
I also really liked the Crappy Pictures blog, but after her best friend died she stopped blogging. Which I totally understand, but her stories made me giggle.

I stopped following a lot of personal blogs a long time ago. I mostly keep it to craft, decorating, and humor these days. I can think of a few I would miss tremendously if they stopped. If Jen Yates ever stops Epbot I will cry. Most of the rest of them, I'm not attached that much too. I think it's because I don't get the personal stuff anymore. OK, I miss Hyperbole and a Half. I miss her a lot. I basically stopped blogging over a year ago and no one noticed. Heck my mom didn't even notice. ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/rofl.png) I think I had a very small following. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Q_m8lDOvc_3Le3r1GKdf.jpg)

No. I've never read blogs and can't imagine being interested in someone's life to that degree, especially someone I don't know.

I don't usually miss bloggers when they stop, but it amazes me how many I remember through the years and periodically wonder what they are up to with their current day lives and whatever happened to their kids that would be now be grown themselves. Only one blogger I liked and wish she kept doing was "Bitchypoo". That woman was funny and always posted about her cats. She still keeps a foster kitty blog and through that caught up on her "cast of characters" cats of hers. It's called Love and Hisses.

I stumbled upon a Youtuber who posted cooking videos. she would cook and her husband would film. she was just the sweetest thing and her recipes were easy. then I noticed no more new videos were being posted. I searched around a bit and to the best of my "sleuthing", she and her husband got divorced and for some crazy reason, he got control over the video channel. there are no signs that she continued on with a new channel of her own. what a shame, her personality and recipes were really great. Oh, I think I know how you are talking about. She was so sweet and I wondered why her videos stopped. That is sad that they divorced ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/mYSUyHtG9Jrcmm_ydVcK.jpg)

Karen Russell and Mary Mary's blogs are the only ones I miss, and I used to read several of them regularly. I think I miss Karen's more because there really wasn't any closure. That final post was heartbreaking, and I still wonder what could have happened that made her decide to step away permanently.
Mary Mary I was following you on IG but I had to close my account and start a new one...what is your username? And, good luck with the move!!

I miss the scrapbook bloggers! Some may blog a couple times a year, some have disappeared. My favorites were Heather Ann Melzer, Kelly Noel, Susan Weinworth, Lisa Dickenson. I also enjoy Stephanie Howell, and she still blogs occasionally.

Ariana LovesThank you for sharing. As odd as it may be, I feel like our online presence is something of a sisterhood and I am saddened to see Arianna in the place she is right now. She's an incredibly strong woman and will certainly be in my prayers.

I really miss Nicole Reaves and check her blog several times a week in hopes for an update. She stopped blogging a few months ago after saying that something shocking/scary had happened. I can't remember if she posted that on her blog or on instagram. She is very talented and I hope she is okay and that she eventually comes back.

They're so funny if you send her a Facebook message and tell her you read her blog she will friend you.

I'm pretty sure I know who the OP is referring to and I feel the same way. If it's the same person I'll actually get to see her in July as she lives in my town and we've had a few interactions before. Really a wonderful lady.
I've also got two others that I've been reading for years (5-10) and they've stepped away or severely limited their postings. I get it. I couldn't keep a blog going to save my life (I tried), but honestly they become like a part of the family.
