I thought I'd give the Stampaholic it's own thread. I'm in love with this thing. I stated on the other thread that I didn't need one, I could just use a Stamp-a-ma-jig or my homemade DVD case. Well I broke down and bought the full size one from katscrappiness. Ordered on 5/16, it shipped, 5/17 and was in my hot little hands on 5/19. I have been playing with it on and off for the past two days. Here is my Pro/Con review. Pros No problem with ink coverage, just re-ink and do it again. No more crooked sentiments. No more bits of ink from the edge of stamp/block. Layering stamps is so easy. Cons It has a squeak in one of the [three!] hinges. I need to buy more layering stamp sets. I totally recommend it as an alternative to the other brand.

Points to ponder; WD 40 for squeak. Be careful you don't over ink your stamp, could get "bits" from the stamp edges. Baby wipe your stamp after 5 or 6 pressings. Double stamping is a great feature, but you might try counting to 10 before you lift. The ink releases faster than the paper can adsorb. You may have your ink pads last longer.

I got mine last week too - after seeing the Free shipping offer here. Really happy with it. Have already used it to make sentiment strips for 3 cards and love it to bits!!
One of my hinges squeaks too but it doesn't bother me - it will loosen up eventually.
So pleased I could buy this at a decent price rather than having to but the other brand.

I love your second con. LOL. I have bought several layering stamps just to use in my stamping tool. I especially like the ones from Altenew and the simple flower ones from My Favorite Things.
For cleaning I far prefer the Absorber (or a similar product) over baby wipes. NO lint whatsoever and it's pretty economical. For tougher messes I took a scrubby type paint pad, cut it in half, and mounted each half to a leftover wood mount. I can spray ultra clean on one and scrub the stamp, and then use the other one to clean it. Then I remove any leftover cleaner/ink with my absorber.

don - thanks for the tip about counting to 10 or pressing longer. I'm going to try that. kikimac - the squeak is not too bothersome, I was just being nit-picky so I would have a "con". gale w - I recently switched from baby wipes to a chamois (the Lawn Fawn one) just moistened with water. A friend bought it for me or I probably never would have tried it. It cleans great! and there is no waiting time for it to dry and no lint. And another plus is there is no recurring cost. I do have a SU! scrubber and spray that I can use for those hard to clean stamps.

I also love mine! Thanks for the waiting longer tip Don. And great idea for the scrubber Gale! I use the absorber too but do need to scrub every once in a while

I bought a Stampaholic Nano from KatScrappiness last month. I love it. I've never really loved the Stamp-a-Majig. The Stampaholic is great for assembly line stamping of multiple cards. I was even able to get a good, crisp, vivid stamping of a sentiment using a dry-ish, old ink pad and stamping twice. Thanks Peas for always having the best reviews.

I'm amazed at how much more I stamp and enjoy stamping with the stamping tools (I have both)

My MISTI squeaks. I often stamp late at night when everyone else is asleep and the squeak seems really loud. lol
