I made this a few weeks ago and can't believe how helpful it is when picking out a die to use. I cut each die in each set from a sheet of 8.5 x 11 cardstock and put the negative (and in the case of stitched dies, adhered one small shape so I could see at a glance what the stitching looks like) into a page protector. When I have a stamped image I can just put the page over it to determine which size is the best. It also helps with layering different dies or layering plain dies with scalloped ones. I had it in this small hello kitty notebook but ended up having to use a full size 3" thick notebook. I also did my punches but couldn't put them all on 8.5 x 11 (due to the reach) so I used smaller sheets and taped them together before putting them into the page protector. Attachments:

That's a really good idea. You probably could also cut the shapes from vellum and use the cutouts as an overlay to see if the stamped design would fit on the cutout piece. I only have a Big Shot so I wouldn't be able to cut mine out of a letter sized sheet like that to make a sizing template like yours, but vellum I could do.

Great idea! I've made a "swatch" sampler for my embossing folders and have been wondering what to do with my dies. TFS.

I use Evernote for everything too. I hate having extra stuff hanging around.

I use Evernote too but I wanted something physical for this so i could use it to check which size fits a certain image. I don't use this for inventory. Just for picking out which dies i want to use.
