Brandy, while I don't want to discount your perspective of that photo and how it made you feel - you look awesome in that pic to me!! Not at all what I was picturing.
That said, your feelings are your feelings, and it sucks in that moment when you don't like a picture. I know for me, especially when I'm in an active losing phase, my brain plays massive tricks on me in the mirror. One day I will feel like I look enormous and then realize the next size down fits, and the next day I'll think I look rocking and then I see a weird angle or shadow or something and am like "HOW DID I LEAVE THE HOUSE IN THIS OUTFIT?"
Our brains are not reliable interpreters of the mirror when we are losing weight, for good and for bad. It's like we have on glasses that make us constantly looking in funhouse mirrors. But, as you more than know, eventually the brain does catch up!

brandy327 That is a great photo! I know what you mean though about pics- I always think I look terrible. I went out with a guy last year that I met online and he said that I looked better in person than in my pics. Well, he didn't...
Welcome IAmUnoriginal!
I think I messed up today- bought Publix Coconut Road frozen yogurt. I haven't opened it though.

Well, thanks very much to TankTop and her inspiring post, I took my starting measurements and did my first BBM workout at 5:15 this morning. Here we go! Time for this woman to reclaim her health and shape. The BBM program seems totally doable with my lifestyle -- a 16 year old, a 5 year old, playing insurance all day and trying to see DH for at least a little while before he leaves for 3rd shift. Giving up 30 minutes of sleep will be well worth it. (I will very likely cuss you out when my muscles ache, TankTop. Just ignore it. I'm an exercise crier.) That will probably be week 2. Teeter totters are a killer! I am proud of you! Congratulations!

melissa I am so jealous. Dip your toes in some salty water for me! brandy327 I have to agree, you look great in that picture. However, I totally get not feeling comfortable.

I was very sore after the fit test but the rest of the days have been ok so far. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

What AN said is perfect! DD is mad at me because I made her eat sweet potato with dinner tonight. The horror. She eats differently here than at her dad's that's for sure. I give her some choices but still make sure she eats protein and fruits and/or veggies with each meal. So I got my test results back and I'm officially a USA Weightlifting Coach. My instructor is set to be one of the coaches for the Olympics for the US team in Rio this summer. He was amazing and I'm so glad I did it! Now I just need to decide how I'm going to put all my coaching certificates to work. I had one big idea for school that my boss initially said yes to but I think her perspective on it has changed since test scores came out last week. Ran yesterday, lifted today, and capped off my workout with a mile tire drag. Tomorrow I'll do the regular class workout. Exercise is definitely keeping me in check emotionally this last week. Wow! How exciting! Congratulations on your accomplishment--a weight lifting coach! Yay! That's not an easy thing to do--you should be so proud!
