I was going to make taco salad but instead DH took me to Sweet Tomatoes. Yay!

gar I had to look up Piri Piri Chicken and had a good chuckle at Jamie Oliver's recipe. We don't usually get instructions like: Bash to a paste, then muddle in 2 tablespoons of olive oil. and . . . with a splash of red wine vinegar and a good lug of extra virgin olive oil.I am curious why he cooked the onions & garlic with the skin on and then peeled them before blending? We are having fresh tuna steak (caught by one of DH's employees) with a sesame ginger sauce, broccoli, carrots and rice.

That's a huge part of what made Jamie so popular I think, originally his unpretentious way with food was a revelation. I think there's a couple of versions of his piri piri chicken recipe so mine didn't say that but I'd guess that, as he's all about making things easy, peeling garlic and onions is easier when they're cooked because the skin just slides off. The recipe I used was from his 30 Minute Meals book and it was pretty tasty!

scrapmaven.....Whoa! That cawliflower recipe sounds SO yummy!!! Thanks for posting!!! I attempted ONCE AGAIN to replicate my brother's extremely yummy spaghetti sauce.... I'd been craving it for days, and this time, "doctored up" Prego just wouldn't cut it, although I DO like Prego the best if I'm not making sauce from scratch. It's always hit or miss, but THIS batch hit it !!! *** I had it for breakfast and again with DH for dinner last night, and will have it again today, possibly for br & dinner again I love how things like this sauce just get better / richer flavor each day! ***I started a thread on the subject of how some things taste WAY better when someone makes them for you----even something simple like a sandwich
