Has anyone successfully made other shapes like stars or hearts? I have not. But I just bought some small stencils to use to make hearts and stars. Has anyone tried that?

I ordered some! And some Dylusions stencils that cost more than the Nuvo. I really need to stop reading product threads.

Tried some shapes on wax paper yesterday.
Outline star, written words, an outline leaf: Easy to do directly with the tip, looked good on the wax paper, but when I tried to move them, they didn't hold together.
Filled in stars, hearts: Easy to make. For the star, I freehanded an outline, then filled in the centre. For the hearts, I did 2 drops side by side, and then used a pin to pull out the point. The solid shapes lifted off the wax paper easily and are ready to use.
Later, I wrote "happy" directly on a card, and it came out well.
Would like to hear how the stencilling turns out! I have TH stars stencil I think would be awesome!

I used the Nuvo gloss drops tons last night on several layouts.
I found another reason why I love them: When you are circling or making a heart/other shape around a photo with enamel dots, you have a virtually unlimited supply of the exact color and shape you need.
I made a heart around a 4x6 pic (well, it went way around the pic, but YKWIM) with premade enamel dots, supplemented with Nuvo drops between. I loved that I didn't have to worry about running out before I was finished completing the heart.

Anyone know where these are a good deal right now? I've been fishing around and remember when they were $1.79 somewhere and can't find them anywhere less than $2.00 which is still a good deal but I'd like a bargain, lol.

Has anyone tried punching or die cutting a shape out of card stock. The applying the drops to the shape? How does that turn out?
