1. Pen recommendations for writing on glossy photos? 2. Is there an ink that stamps on glossy photos without smudging? 3. Should I just stop ordering glossy photos? *sigh* Also: I am left-handed, and have trouble smearing ink even on regular paper.  Who feels my pain? |

I use Slick Writers for my glossy photos. And Staz-On ink is the only ink that I've found to work on photos. Kelly Purkey uses a white pigment ink but I can't seem to make it work for me.
Have you tried pens and ink on matte photos? Does it work better?

I haven't tried on matte photos, but someone told me that glossy photos are notoriously difficult to get ink to stick to.
I'll give Slick Writer another go. I have found the ink doesn't come out smoothly, but maybe I had an old pen or something.

I use a Sakura Identipen. It's like a fine point Sharpie with acid free archival ink.

I have Slick Writers, too, but the pen I use the most on photos is a Zig Photo Signature. It is a fine black pen and hasn't smeared for me, but I am right handed. I use StazOn for stamping on pictures.

I use StazOn for stamping on pictures. Where did you get the Zig photo signature pen? I usually print matte photos, and don't write on them often, but when I do, I have used the Smashbook pen. Goes on well, and if I allow enough time for the ink to dry, it stays on well, I think. |

Another vote for the Zig Photo pen. I like that it's finer tipped than even the fine Slick Writers.
