Sitting here reading all about my new pressure cooker, and reading the cookbook (the "500 recipes" one that Elaine recommended). So where should I start? Are there certain things I should avoid while I'm a beginner? Any recommendations for a first recipe? I was going to try some kind of soup but naturally we're having summer temps now (after weeks of cold rain, which would have been perfect soup weather). And since I refuse to turn on the AC yet I'm not so sure about soup. But if you experts recommend I start there I will.
Everything looks so good, and the pressure cooker threads here have lots of yummy things. Where to start??

Mine is out for delivery now. I'm going to try potato salad & pulled pork as my first attempts.

Pulled pork is very simple. As are mashed potatoes.

I haven't even received my Instant Pot yet & I'm already thinking about an air fryer.

I like to do spaghetti sauce in my pressure cooker. Tastes like it's been simmering all day!

Ribs and corn on the cob. Sure there are healthier things to cook, but this is your inaugural pressure cooker meal, LOL.

I made chicken soup in mine the first time I used mine. A roast is easy. I made beef stew. Tomorrow I'm making pulled pork in mine.

I've had mine for almost 2 weeks and haven't used it yet! I just can't seem to find the nerve to try something! I think I want a one pot meal. I need ideas!
