projects?
I find myself carrying my projects out more and more. Do you have a project bag that you like? Something with some pockets I can load up with scissors, yarn needles, hooks, etc.
Here's my latest wip; ripple baby blanket for my cousin's baby. My goal is to finish it, along with the edging, this weekend.

In the winter when I crochet on my bus ride to/from work I usually just throw small projects in my back pack and throw my hook and small scissors in the small pocket. I keep meaning to make a pouch for projects. I need to order some longer zippers first though.

I love my various Namaste bags. They're pretty enough to double as my purse when I'm not using them for a project. They also make wonderful little bags to go inside your purse. Here's a list of my favorite bags of theirs. Big Project Bags/Purses: Poppins Monroe Hermosa Accessory Bags: Better Buddy Bigga' Buddy (I don't have this one yet, but want it) Megan (large) and Jemma (small) Pouches--I use Jemma as my change purse Build Your Own Binder (this is permanent hook storage for my favorite hooks; all the backup hooks live in a mug) Devin Wristlet (this holds all my credit cards, etc.) Oh Snap! pouches Skinny Mini (this holds all my hooks when I crochet in public) If you decide to buy anything from Namaste, tell Kelly and her sisters that Amy from Crochetville sent you.

I made my own project bag. Let me get a picture of one to share. Since I knit mostly socks, I don't need a large bag. I'll be back soon to add a picture. As promised, here's a bag I've made: um, sorry if it's huge. The bag is a 7" square. Cube is probably more accurate because it's 7 inches wide, high, and deep. The sides are fairly stiff so they stand up. There's no zippers or velcro so I don't have to worry about yarn snagging on anything. It's small enough to go inside a larger bag/purse but will keep your stuff together.

I'll be watching this thread. I'd love to take small projects along to appointments with me.

Very cute bag @dknitter ! Thanks! I sell them at craft shows with different designs. I always have mine next to me because I work on small projects while working a craft show. I always get another knitter or crocheter interested and buying one.
