The board itself is so much more user friendly with features that 2 peas should have added years ago. It has a nice enough mobile site with lots of features to make an app unnecessary. I like it. (thumbs up smilie goes here-too bad we don't have that).

I'm happy so many of us found this place and I think the board is so much better! Sometimes change is good. Change is always hard even when it's good but this board is making it easier to adjust to the change. For me, anyway.

I love that you can hover your mouse over the thread title and find out what the OP is talking about before clicking on the link. THAT is a huge improvement. Drama queens probably won't be thrilled.  |

I agree! It's easier to post and navigate. I haven't downloaded the app for pro boards yet because I'm actually happy with safari. I may buy app later though just to see what it is like.

The only thing I don't like or cannot seem to figure out is an easy way back to the NSBR main menu.
I keep have to scroll back to the top of the page and click the forum name again.
I'm not on a mobile device, so I'm not using any app, just the regular old board.

See that little gear-thingy on the top right of your post? That'll take you back up to the top of the page but you still have to click on the forum name to take you to the main menu. It doesn't work, however, on a multi-page thread. Still trying to find an easier way for that myself.

I haven't been on 2 peas in years, but I was shocked to see the way they just shut it down. I can only imagine how some are having withdrawals. I'm glad to know I can come here and get pea answers!

Yes, I noticed no forum jump. That would be nice to have but I was happy to find the 'back to top' button. I'm used to doing it that way since the quilting board I go to doesn't have a decent forum jump.
Things I love and wished 2 peas had before:
automatically go to the first unread post
hover and preview the post
easy to quote
ability to 'like' posts
quickly check to see if threads I've posted in have new posts
quick reply box
And I'm sure there's more...

I agree, there are lots of great things about this board. My favorites (so far) are the Like button, and how you can see if anyone has quoted you on a thread in your Notifications.

Love this new home! I think there may be many Peas who left the old board when it went to the white color change; and , I think they would like this as it is easier on the eyes.
