Not because I really need it, but just because this Bullshit biopsy is two years after the last one and it's BEHIND THE NIPPLE. I'm dying at that thought. The nipple! ACKK!
SECOND bx In two years. Bunches of BS. No h/o cancer in my family, but yet I keep forming "suspicious areas".
Stay strong, my fellow fibrously dense sisters. It's bunches of BS that are apparently going to be a problem every year.
Kinda want to just cut them off.

As a nurse, I'm sure you know that the odds are in your favor that it's benign. However, I'm sure it's concerning, because it's happening to you. Don't know if this is enough to help, but I had a needle inserted for a big golf ball sized lump underneath the nipple and they went in through the side and it wasn't a big deal. I barely felt it. It was a bunch of junk, so they went in and removed it a few days later. I'm guessing you're fine and it's just BS. Meanwhile, I'll say a prayer, just cause I roll that way.

I feel you. My last biopsy was like a scene from "Psycho " Stab, stab and again stab. I am wishing the best for you. I have to say at 66 years of age my "dense" breasts are pretty perky. Maybe in your old age (like me) you will be thankful for dense breasts.

Good vibes for you.
I keep getting called back for suspicious areas & have 6 month check ups. I was under the impression the older I got the less dense issues I would have but it seems to be getting worse.

I hope it's as quick and painless a procedure as it can be and that the results are positive. (but I hurt for you just thinking about it...ugh)

I also have very fibrous breasts so perhaps I'll stay perky, too. I hope all goes well Zee and you get a clean report!

Hang in there. I've had one very close to that area. Like a previous poster said, they went in from the side. Still sucks. Close your eyes and think of England.

Thank you so much, everyone! It went really well, the radiologist did it with ultrasound and he was great. It was literally painless. I know it will probably be a little sore later, but I've got my little ice pack and all is well. Many hugs and thanks to all of you!

I'm glad it went well! I've not had a biopsy, but I have had more cysts aspirated than it is possible to count, and sometimes it's worse than others, depending where they are located. It's no fun.

I'm very glad that it's over and you can rest now. Did the doc find anything to biopsy or is just fibrous tissue? Do something nice for yourself today. You've earned it.

Thank you, I wish I could do something fun but instead I have to take my car in for a repair estimate because DS' friend backed into my car in the driveway. After he demolished my planter, which I had just filled with plants. Lol I can't even be mad, the scene was so ridiculous. Whatever they are sampling probably is nothing, but its location and "irregular borders" earned me the biopsy. :/

My experiences have shown that some hurt, some not as much. Same as cyst aspirations. Glad you're not in pain!
