We have a Conair. I think I paid about $35 for it. I still use my iron for a crisper look to some things.

Mine is a Conair. I got it at Costco and I don't remember the price. I would guess $25-$35.

We don't have an iron, so I bought a steamer in anticipation of needing to do something with DS' graduation gown. The steamer did nothing helpful, so I now have a brand new iron. The steamer would be fine for slight wrinkles, but not for anything more.

Have a steamer. It sits next to my iron, lonely and rejected.
I use a spray bottle of water and smooth and hang my clothes the night before. I wear things that is easy to do on. For a suit, I would have to steam or press.

I have two, a handheld that I use for quick jobs and traveling and a full size floor one that I use for everything else. I still iron slacks and cotton tops but my steamer gets a workout everytime I do laundry.

I have a Rowenta I bought years ago at Costco after my previous Conair bit the dust. I hate to iron and will steam if at all possible. My life hack for ironing is to steam the bulk of the garment and if their is a collar or placket that I want crisp.... Then that is a job for my straight iron! Yes, the one I use on my hair which is also the perfect tool for baby & toddler sized clothing that needs ironed.

I have Joy Mangano's My Little Steamer (both the full size and travel versions). I've been very happy with them and can't tell you the last time I pulled out an iron.
I even keep an extra steamer at work. Gets used surprisingly often by me and my colleagues!

My first pea purchase was the My Little Steamer. Years ago it got rave pea reviews and I caved and ordered it from Amazon. I love that thing! Haven't touched an iron since and it's small enough (imo) to take when we travel Love it!

I can't remember which one I have, but I LOVE it. The only thing about it is it's a little small. I was using it the other day to steam the wrinkles out of the curtains I bought and it was running out of water a little too quickly. But with that said, it fit very nicely in my suitcase when I traveled and wanted it.
I'm completely hooked, bought one and packed up my iron and ironing board and I hope never to touch them again!

I have the same Little Steamer by Joy Mangano--I've had it for years but have only used it a few times on light weight fabrics. I sew and my iron & board are set up, so usually I'll just iron if needed. I should dig out the steamer and see if it works for heavier fabrics.

I use both. Steamers have their place on lighter fabrics, but for some things only an iron will make them look pressed (pants, dress shirts etc)

I have a Steamfast now and like it. I have had a conair in the past and liked it also. I prefer the type with a stand and hose attachment rather than a hand held model. It seems to give more control, the steam lasts longer and I can hang the clothes on the attached rack. I do own the Shark handheld steamer and I hate it. It's super heavy and clumsy. Make sure you use distilled water or you will get a build up in the machine and it will die a painful artery clogged deth.
