an almost full container of roasted garlic hummus left over. They were on sale last week buy one/get one so I picked up two and have a good bit left over. Instead of buying more chips, I thought I would ask here for other suggestions based on what you do with hummus? Other than slathering it all over chicken and baking, do you guys have any ideas? I googled and saw some ideas, but figured you guys are better than google when it comes to food and recipes.

The first thing I thought of was some type of greek wrap. You could spread your hummus over a tortilla and add some grilled chicken and some feta and maybe lettuce.

Hummus is good for a veggie wrap. Put some hummus on a tortilla and load it up with miscellaneous veggies. Yum!

I make my own pita crisps by cutting a pita into wedges, baste with butter and garlic salt. Bake at 250 for 2 hours. I love hummus with any veggie/crudité.

Make a sandwich. Spread it on really good bread nice & thick. Add sliced tomato, red onion and lettuce. Delicious. One of my favorite lunches!

We put it on salads. DH adds a little lemon juice....better than dressing!

Mix with cooked lentils and diced onions, diced tomato and maybe a bit of lemon & parsley for a 'salad'
Mix with diced sautéed onion & garlic a bit of olive oils and then stir in cooked wild rice pinch of salt and pepper
Get thin sliced chicken breasts mix hummus and raw spinach, spread on one side of chicken, roll up, secure and bake

I bring 2 TB of hummus everyday to work for my afternoon snack and either dip baby carrots or bell pepper slices into it.

I have never dipped chips in hummus! Occasionally pretzel sticks, but I personally like to scoop up hummus with an assortment of fresh vegetables. Baby carrots and red pepper strips are my faves.

Hummus? I leave it at the store. Blech. But, other people use it in wraps, dip veggies in it, dip pretzels in it, go buy more chips.

They were Stacy's pita chips. Pretty darn tasty in their own right. I have dipped all kinds of veggies too, it is a pretty typical lunch for me but as I was staring at the food desert that is my refrigerator (I really need to hit up the grocery store) I wondered what else I could do with it.

Schwarma!
Cook some meat and onions (I like chicken or beef) and put Mediterranean spices on it.
Put it on a pile of hummus with a dash of olive oil and eat it with pita bread and fattoush salad. Mmmmm!

I love hummus but I only ever dip with cut up veggies - carrots, peppers, cucumber - and breadsticks/pitta.
I nearly bought some today from the store but resisted. I could just eat some now for supper!

It freezes nicely too. So if you want to portion it out to smaller servings for dip you can do that too.
