DH and I just finished watching it on Amazon Prime. We found it amusing, even if it was a little predictable.
The emphasis on class and wealth is so foreign to me, but back then it was so important. Marriage was more like a business arrangement than the joining of two lives.
Overall, we enjoyed it.

I quite enjoyed it, though I didn't think some of the characters were that well developed. It would probably have benefited from another episode or two.

Just watched the whole thing tonight while making cards. It was okay. Not super. But I like anything like this!

Just watched the whole thing tonight while making cards. It was okay. Not super. But I like anything like this! Yes, this is exactly how we felt. We enjoy period dramas - the sets, the costumes, the manner of speech. So it was worth our time. As was seeing Lady Arabella groveling a bit at the end. And who didn't see this coming? As soon as Doctor Thorne figured out that Mary was Scatcherd's heir after Louis, I knew Louis was a goner!
