I always make 10 hard boiled eggs for my work breakfasts (2 a day) and have as a backup at work low carb wraps with canned chicken. But all last week, I had been packing the leftovers from the night before to bring to work. a couple of salads, some whole wheat pasta. I do want to make on Sundays dinner for the week if possible, I just have to get my head out of my butt. Feeling good, and not tempted too much which is a plus in my book.

So this happened today. Handstand holds for about 15 seconds each and practice kicking into the wall. Hope to practice a few holds each time I go in this week.

I have been lurking these threads for awhile! I decided today to join in. I have about 30 pounds to lose, and I am working on getting in better shape. I have a few roadblocks that are not helping me. I have RA, so I have restrictions on what type of exercises my Dr wants me doing. But the biggest is that my right Achilles' tendon is no longer attached. So I have limited strength in that calf and have balance issues. I just finished P/T for my balance, it is much better! I have been doing Weight Watchers, but I backslid last month. I had lost 10 pounds, but I am almost back to my starting weight from the first of the year. Hopefully this will help me get back on track.

I went for a run this morning. It felt good. I have to have an ablation tomorrow afternoon and I'm not excited about being boiled alive from the inside. I hope to feel well enough to run on Tuesday.
We leave for vacation Saturday, and I'm not sure how much time I'll have to work out. I expect we'll do enough walking around the city that I shouldn't worry about it. We're staying super close to the national mall so I'm going to go run the mall at least a few times while we're there. I think the change of scenery will be inspiring.

Welcome to our group! You will like it here. Is it partially torn or totally torn? It's it totally torn won't they do surgery? My Achilles was partially torn and I was in a walking boot for 3 months. I also did PT and it did heal for the most part but I always wonder if it will totally tear.

I kept telling my old Dr that something was wrong with my Achilles' tendon, but she just said it was a strain. Well turns out it was torn, and by not doing anything about it, it finally completely tore. My calf is half the size of the other! My p/t was amazed that I could walk as well as I do. The surgery to repair it no guarantee it will work, and the recovery is long and painful. I doubt I will do it, I am just going to make the best of what I have.
