I thought of another few I use too.., I love several Martha Stewart snowflake punches. I have 3 different ones from various years, in different sizes. I use them a ton, even though we don't get a lot of snow! I actually find myself reaching for them a lot on Christmas layouts and tags, cards, etc.

I just bought the EK Success mason jar punch. I love that punch more than I thought I would. I am using that punch a lot right now. Tell me how you use it! I ove the mason jar shape, but I'm not sure how to incorporate it onto my pages. Last week I took paint chip cards and punched out the mason jar shape. Then I wrote quotes on the "paint chip jars". You can punch pattern paper or cardstock- draw, rubber stamp, die cut images on the pattern paper/cardstock- punch a piece of acetate or vellum- adhere to the top of the pattern paper. It is much cuter than I can explain. I found a tutorial on YouTube for how to do this. I think it was Halie Hostler's channel. She has the cutest embellishments for the mason jar punch. If you have a Fuse you can Fuse the mason jar together to make your own shaker embellishment. I am going to be trying this really soon. I have been making tags with the mason jar punch and adding cute little 3d embellishments on the tag and adding washi tape for the jar lid. I have seen somebody use baker's twine to wrap the jar lid. Punch the mason jar on thin paper and turn them into post-it notes for your planners or journals. I have been recreating the mason jar Project Life cards that are out right now. I have been layering my scrap embellishments to my jars- Add a frame label and little butterflies, adhere tiny word stickers. etc... I have seen embellishment girls do this and then staple the embellishments to the jar with Tim Holtz tiny attacher. I don't have a tiny attacher so I haven't got to try this yet. I do have a miniature stapler I have been using. I have done something similar to this but I used a mixed media background- I haven't done this one yet but I want too with different stamps- www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlqHjUb7R3AIf you like to watercolor you can watercolor a scene on the mason jar. Make the mason jar into a traditional flower vase. This is a Cricut cartridge idea but would be so cute for a Summer page you can make the jar into a firefly jar. Cricut has a cut on one of the cartridges. I can't remember which one at the moment. I was looking at mason jars at Cricut Design Space before I bought the punch. My Mom likes to stick fairies in mason jar images. Makes me so mad because that is fairy abuse. I know a lot of people love to make fairy images like that. I have a lot of people ask my Mom if I will do fairy paintings on mason jar die cuts for them. No, I don't. This is my last idea I can think of at the moment you can do a "shaker globe" scene with the mason jar punch. I am super picky when it comes to punches because I have my die cutters. I ended up buying this punch. All the way home I kept thinking it was going to be a bad purchase and I made a mistake, I should bought a coloring book instead. As soon as I started playing with the punch I could see how versatile it was going to be.

I have a little heart shaped punch from Fiskars that I use more than any others but I also love my scallop border punches and the EK label punch.

I'm pretty sure I desperately need the EK Success mason jar punch now. I never thought of so many of those options. And I have three fairy stamps that I would love to use in a mason jar. And baker's twine. Oh lordy, I have a huge amount that I never know what to do with.

Border punches. I find I use the pointed designs more than rounded scallop designs.

I use my arrows all the time as arrows and to make tales on those branding strips. Even easier than a square punch. But now I think I need to add the mason jar punch to my collection. I feel enabled!!!!!!

Like you, LisaDV , I have had a notebook edge punch in my Amazon cart for maybe a year. I finally bought it this morning when I ordered some Distress Re-inkers. I think I can use my WRMK envelope board to make a tab. I'll need to check it out. impearia , I use my MS frond punch quite a bit. It adds nice texture in spots. Let's just call this the punch enabling thread. Old-school style!

I still use my scallop circles and regular circle punches the most. yes these. And a SU! bracket journaling spot. And I use various border punches: mostly scallop and the lacey edge one. I have been looking at ads for the Creating Memories (or is it Tonic?) border punch system, and thinking I might like it. They have a cool photo strip design as one option. Basically, you purchase the mechanism that holds your paper straight, and does the punching. Then you get the individual punches that click in and then slide along the edge of the paper.

I know Fiskars has several systems too. You can find those at JoAnns. I have both the large and small system.

Oh, I forgot about my huge Lucky 8 punches. I have 11 of the large ones and 5 of the smaller ones. I found most of them at Ross several years ago for about 10 bucks each. They are awesome.

I think it's this one. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003VD38IY?fp=1&pc_redir=T1 Pretty sure Joanns still carries this in-store too Fiskars makes this same shape in several sizes, so you have lots of choices. I think having two in different sizes would be fun to layer! Great. Now I want another. Lol!

I think I use scalloped circles the most.

Have circles, and ovals, and some mixed shapes, including a star.

Let's just call this the punch enabling thread. Old-school style! Well, if we're having an enabling thread, here's what I have already.... Fiskars squeeze punches - 2 sizes of hexagons, 2 sizes of clouds, puzzle piece, 3 way corner rounder, ticket edger MS - heart confetti, star confetti, photo corner, dove, butterfly, doily edger EK - 3 label, 3 word bubbles, mason jar, for sale sign, star and moon edger, music note edger, swiss cheese edger, banners mini punch set, heart and star mini punch set Marvy - envelope punch, variety of circles American Crafts - original Knock Outs border punch set Hmmm. When it's all written out like that, it seems like a lot. Why was it I needed more punches?

I think I use scalloped circles the most. I went back and looked at the mason jar die cuts on the Cricut. You are right it was Playtime. It was not a firefly but a grasshopper. Kate's ABC's has the cutest mason jar with butterflies. I can't believe I forgot about that mason jar cut on that cartridge. It was one of the reasons why I bought Kate's ABC's. I can help you all with enabling. If you go to YouTube and look for YT videos from the planner crowd. Type in something like planner punches, planner embellishments or the name of your planner and your favorite punches. You will get a ton of inspiration.

I'm mostly scrapping 12x12 using divided sheet protectors and 8.5x11, so it's smaller spaces. I like the planner stuff that is coming out because the scale of the items are great!

I purchased a Teresa Collins tab punch for $4 clearanced at J's last week. I'd thought about it before with the coupon but it would have still been over $11, and I just couldn't do it. Hope to use it on my next traditional layout.

Does anyone know of a circle punch that punches different sizes? I would pay good money for that. I have the CM circles, and they're great. But sometimes I need to punch because I have a LOT to cut. I know some punches you can slide a mechanism and it makes part of the punch not come down. Wondering if anyone's done that for different sizes of the same shape?
