I found the thread on 2peas...Stinky Rose posted it. Is she here too?
Also, set your DVR for these Season 5 preview shows and documentaries about TWD:
July 6, 9:00 EST - special 'Talking Dead' episode giving a first look at Season 5
July 8, 10:00 EST - 'Inside the Walking Dead' - documentary showcasing how the series is made
July 15, 10:00 EST - 'Inside the Walking Dead: Walker University' - documentary showing how extras are made into walkers
Also, a marathon with every episode will air starting July 4!
And last but not least - AMC announced they are developing a companion series to The Walking Dead. The series will follow a different set of characters created by Robert Kirkman, and is expected to debut in 2015. Awesome!!

ME! I'm so excided for the companion series !
I got to say one think that is bothering me about the walking dead.......... why is the grass not higher and towns not more overgrown. No one is mowing or brush hogging. This may be on my mind because I can't seem to keep up with our mowing and I've been doing it once a week.

I'm here! Big fan of the show. I also decided to read the books and just bought Compendium One. Man, that is one heavy book.

THIS is one of the reasons I loved 2peas so much. I'd skip watching a show at first and then threads would pop up on the show. Sooner or later I would read a thread, then have to watch the show to see what they were talking about.
Also, peas telling or reminding me when something was on or starting or ending...

me me me!! And, to keep up, I am on a zombie book kick. Y'all know there are some REALLY bad zombie books, right?? There are some fun ones, and some good ones, but OMG, there are some that are so bad that you just have to wonder if they had someone read it before it went to "print" because if they had, surely someone would have said "DUDE, NO." (is that a laughing smilie?) Id love to hear of some zombie books!

Patient Zero by Jonathan Maberry is fantastic. The follow up is Code Zero. More zombies than the first. But, there is are a few books between these two that do not have zombies. It's worth reading in order. Honestly, I was a bit obsessed with the Joe Ledger books. (The name of the main character.) The characters are likeable. The stories are interesting. And, it was completely shocking for me, as I don't tend to go for that type of genre. I've so many zombie books on my Kindle it's ridiculous.

I love the characters and have read all of them except the most recent one I think. I will have to check my kindle for titles of some other books that I enjoyed, most of them are serials with multiple books.

I don't think ive ever posted on the WD threads but I'm here.
My friend's husband is a dentist for the state prison system and they relocated for his work. I was asking about their new house and she said they actually live on the prison grounds. Apparently there is housing for employees. I blurted out, "when the zombie apocalypse happens you'll be in one of the safest places!" She said "you realize you said when, not if, right?" She's not a WD fan. She just doesn't get it.

I didn't/don't read the comics.

I'm not a fan, but my boys are! They just spent a day at Walker Stalker Con in Boston a couple of weeks ago and had a blast schmoozing with the cast members that were there. My 14 year old is still talking about the hug he got from "Maggie"

If I ever DID buy a gun, it would be for the Zombie Apocalypse. And..and...<big breath>... I would open-carry. Stick it in my jeans waistband, a la Maggie. 'Cause I look just like her.

Both are very different takes on the zombie apocalypse. Someone else mentioned "Feed" by Mira Grant. I liked the book a lot, but was so traumatized I couldn't read the rest of the series.

I'm not sure how much I actually posted on TWD threads but I sure read along and watch the show faithfully. My middle son ( he's 17) and I both have a thing for zombies.
On a lighter note, I took a Buzzfeed quiz on FaceBook to see how long I would I last i in a Zombie apocalypse ....I'll be dead in a MONTH! I guess I learned nothing from my Zombie books, movies and Walking Dead.
