My little jack russell sleeps under the blankets with her head on a pillow. But, I'm one of those "happily married separate bedroom" girls

King sized bed, skinny hubby, slightly overweight me and mini schnauzer. Oh, and the bone pillow toy he sleeps with. And his puppy pillow pet. Usually his blanket. Lately a long red and green squeaky snake. And a stuffed dog twice his size. Oh and a Christmas bear. The bed is full. DH and I are the ones jockeying for spots. If we toss stuff out, he goes back to the toy pile and drags it back up. It's like sleeping with a preteen girl.

No help here. We haven't had a dog sleep in our bed until our late Max (mini doxie we just put down after Mother's Day) was a puppy. SOMEONE *cough*cough*ME*cough*cough* fed him a small container of that Frosty Paws ice cream for dogs...and he pooped UNDER the covers and dh stuck his hand on a turd and it stuck to his palm. He screamed like a little girl when I turned the light on at 2am and he had a turd stuck to him. That was the end of ANY dog sleeping in our bed. OK, I read this in the middle of the night, and really feel that "liking" it isn't enough to do it justice. Truly hilarious!

DH didn't think so at the time...but he does love to tell the story now!! LOL

We have three little ones that sleep with us. My oldes Shih Tzu curl up next to me, the younger one sleeps at the foot of the bed, and our tiny Chihuahua mix curls up near my DH's armpit or as close to his bald head as she can get. I think she likes the heat...

Our Border Collie mix wants no part of getting up on the bed. She doesn't want to haul her butt up there and gladly sleeps on her bed in the living room. The cat is a different story. He might as well be a dog as he takes up just as much room. He tries to sleep up near my head, but I push him to the end. He always sprawls out on my side because my legs are shorter than DH and he gets as much space as he wants. Bed hog.
