Happy Friday ladies!!! This has been the longest week ever! But the end is finally here!! At our soccer meeting last night, I managed to control myself and only had 1/2 of a potato skin and probably 5 nacho chips. I love indulging just a little and not completely blowing it!! Today is grocery shopping day and then when I get home, I need to make sure the house is cleaned up and get laundry done up. Then I plan on making a bunch of cookie dough to freeze. Unfortunately, no workout today. My butt muscles hurt so apparently those two 8 min runs worked those muscles in a big way. So today's a good day for a rest day. I hope you all have a wonderful Friday!

Back to the rat race for me today. I have an eye doctor's appointment this morning. Then DD has cardiac rehab, and after that errands. I am tired thinking of getting back into the craziness. Oh well, at least it's Friday!!!
I have put up my Oreo cheesecake on FB to give away locally. We have SO much left, and I don't want the temptation in the house anymore. I have had two slices. They were huge, and that is more than enough. I hope someone will want it because it is delicious!!!
Hubby is picking up dinner tonight so at least I don't have to cook. The kids want Olive Garden. I will add a soup for myself. I love their soup, and it's filling and healthy. That way I can enjoy without eating bad.

Morning!
So, I did have a stomach bug last night. Never threw up but dry heaves and other fun bathroom-related things. Running a fever too. I slept on the couch in about 90 minute chunks. Around 1am I was able to tolerate some watered down Gatorade and I'm having a little rice now.
Thankfully DD has been with her dad all week. She comes home briefly tomorrow for her dance recital then is gone again for another week. *sigh* I just wouldn't wish this on her!
Supposed to have post planning at work but I'm calling out. At least I don't have to write sub plans! No workout either, and Saturday I'll have to squeeze in a walk or yoga or something after the recital.
Netflix and disinfecting my house for me today. Yay summer! Lol.

Oh gosh. Two of my other teammates at work have it too! Similar symptoms and everything. Those end of the year germs are fierce!

This was an extra long week it seemed! And littlefish those germs had me until the very end too but a few days of summer took care of them!
I had my first weigh in at WW yesterday and I was down 2.2 which I was thrilled with! Probably had more to do with my clothing but I'll take it, also someone thought I was almost 20 years younger than I am so really a great meeting! I've got a Livestrong Stronger workout on tap for this morning, some house cleaning, laundry, and work.
Tis the season for grad parties and I've got a couple this weekend so hopefully I can keep my plate healthy. Fruit is my friend!

Good morning! Sounds like everyone has had a good week. It has been hectic here. I did the garage sale yesterday but just done have it in me to do it today. I think I am just going to either take the clothes to once upon and child and what they take, they take, or sell in cheap lots online. It is supposed to be really hot today and the kids want to go swimming. I already planned to have the day off, and we have tournaments the next few weeks, so it is a good time to do something fun. I'm going to do my workout here shortly and then clean before we head out. My house is out of control at this point and DH is threatening to take everything to goodwill soon. I would like to get a little more money since we still have soooo much, but also just want to be done with it.

Ladies...we made it through another week with what sounds like lots of successes. I hate that Patter has another busy day and littlefish is feeling bad. I have been up and at them this morning. I have already done my run. I wanted to get it in before the day heats up. I have Lso done some weeding and cleaned out a few drawers. I need to go do my BBM workout and shower. Dh is coming home today and I want to not have on athletic clothes for once. Lol. So here is a question for you.... What summer, low-cal cocktail do you enjoy? I am feeling the need for a drink. Lol!

Hi all! I hope you all are doing well. I need to get back into the swing of, at the very least, reading this thread every day. I'm doing OK. Still no loss on the scale, but my shape is still changing. I wore a fitted tank to yoga for the first time, and it looked pretty good! Not GREAT, still have a lot of improving to do, but much better. Today is the 22nd day after my first visit with Dr. Smith at Airrosti ( explaination), and a week and 1 day since I popped my Popliteus/hamstring muscle in yoga, and the first morning I have woken up PAIN FREE, sans anti inflammatories! Woot!!! So, hopefully I will feel more free to really get into my classes. We haven't had Pound for the last week & 1/2, and I really miss it. We didn't have Zumba yesterday, either, so this week was just 5 Yoga classes and Turbo Kick today. Looking forward to getting back into the routine of all of my classes. I'm feeling out of sorts. Also, this next Thursday, I will be doing a body analytics thing at the studio. Looking forward to the results, buy hoping I am better off than I think I am. We shall see. I know that the scale is only a small part of the total health equation, but would REALLY like to see a drop in numbers before our HI trip in the fall. I feel like I have worked TOO HARD to not see it move at all. :-P Y'all have a great weekend!

So here is a question for you.... What summer, low-cal cocktail do you enjoy? I am feeling the need for a drink. Lol! We like to freeze grapes, strawberries and kiwi and then put it in white wine. Not only is it refreshing it looks really pretty in a pitcher.

I decided yesterday afternoon I was taking today off too. I love that I can call my boss and tell her that and her reply is "you deserve it, enjoy". So today my to-do list includes cleaning out DS's room while he is at work, finish cleaning blinds and baseboards, run a few errands and take the dog for a walk.
This afternoon is yoga and maybe a nap!
Busy weekend ahead as we have parties both Saturday and Sunday night.
I eat worse when I am home. When I'm working, I plan everything out and I stay on track. I noticed when I'm home I tend to graze and not keep track of what I'm eating. I need to be better about that.

Happy Friday everyone! OMG I've been ready for Friday since Monday! Gave my first set of exams today. I wish my new Fitbit was here already--I swear I earned my 10,000 steps in just the 2.5 hour block walking all over the place! Next set of exams is on Monday and then I just need to grade them all! 5.5 days and I can rest--summer vacation will begin. Can.not.wait! littlefish I'm so sorry--those germs are awful! Hoping you feel better soon! Today's been a decent food day. I was able to wear shoes that weren't flip-flops today, so I'm hoping I can get my sneakers on tomorrow and get back into the swing of things with exercise. Got to watch my girl in her pointe class tonight as well as see her perform her choreography. I think she did a really nice job--but I'm soooo stinking tired. I'm going to hit the hay very shortly. Weigh-in is tomorrow and I'm hoping I get my 20lbs down...and maybe a bit more! It would be a lovely way to start the weekend!

It's been an exhausting week. Wednesday was spent in NYC... all day. Early start so dd could take a ballet class. it also included the Hamilton ticket lotter, Ham4Ham, pouring rain, orchestra seats at ABT thanks to dd's student discount, a taxi that only took us a few blocks because of construction and a presidential motorcade. Walked a zillion blocks as a result (had already walked a zillion blocks but needed to eat dinner and get to a show after this shop). Ran right into said motorcade. Had to wait for it to arrive and then for it to pass quite a distance. Very interesting to see the security and cool to wave to the POTUS! Bought new ballet slippers for both dd and I, had dinner and then waited in line to see Hamilton and then finally saw Hamilton! I was a vegetable/couch potato most of Thursday. Ended up with some nasty blisters because of what happened to my sandals in the rain. Worked Thursday night on those same blisters where I delivered 3 babies and took care of 3 other laboring women who did not deliver until after I left. Usually, I do 1, maybe 2 deliveries in a 12 hour shift. Did not sleep at all. Slept this morning. I think I did well with food today despite that or because of that. Brunch was a cheese and chicken quesidilla. Had some of dd's mango smoothie for a snack. Dinner was roasted chicken and peas. I had half of a protein bar at some point too. Back to OrangeTheory tomorrow and again on Monday. Dance recital for my niece on Sunday and then the "Hamil-TONY's!"
